Drumroll... and here it is, my Tree of Hearts PDF embroidery pattern for beginners. ❤❤❤ Using three basic stitches I'll show you to stitch this contemporary design, inspired by autumn walks. 🍁🍃🍂 A printable template is included along with a quick and easy method for transferring the design to your cotton fabric. You will need some embroidery thread in three colours red, brown & green as well as a 6" hoop and some white medium weight cotton fabric (similar to a pillowcase) There are closeup photographs and step by step instructions teaching you how to sew the stitches needed to complete the picture. After a little practice you can embellish your finished picture with tiny buttons, beads or sequins to create your own style of tree for someone special. The leaves are changing colour 🍁🍃🍂and the nights drawing in but the gorgeous autumn colours 🍂🍃 are a welcome inspiration for any textile artist. I made this picture last year for my daughters new home 🏠 but I love the colours so much I had to share it with you. The tree was stitched freehand on my sewing machine and all the detail is added by hand, one-by-one, very rewarding to work on.
