“I’m wearing a thrifted knitted poncho that I altered to fit like a dress, paired with pants I made myself. My shoes, bag, and jewellery are all thrifted or gifted. Lately, I’ve been inspired a lot by thrift store finds, especially unique fabric textures. Dressing up is my art form, I love exploring different styles and turning my ideas into wearable pieces through sewing. For this festival look, freedom of movement and confidence were my top priorities.”

“I’m wearing a neon green thrifted jacket, scarf crocheted by me, shorts made from old skinny jeans I got in 7th grade, top thrifted, socks and fishnets from a costume store, garter from kawaii.se in Sweden and boots from Monki. My style has a lot of different inspirations from early 2000s alt subcultures but I love love maximalism and scene especially. My friends also inspire my style a lot.”

I like to play with clothes for example wear a dress as a skirt or a skirt as a shirt etc. and layer everything I can. “The outfit was inspired by Red Riding Hood. The unique pieces for the look, the scarf and the skirt, were lended from the wardrobes of my fashionable grandmas. The backless top, on the other hand, I made myself. My style varies daily and it is inspired by each theme of those days (not to forget my fashionable grandmas).”

“I am wearing a second-hand corset top and camo pants. The motorcycle boots I bought from Tori, and the scarf is a homecoming gift from my family from a holiday. The sunglasses are vintage Gucci. The bag is my all time favorite bag. I found it from a small town thrift shop. I get excited if I find some item that speaks to me. Maybe unpredictability is one of the key words. This specific outfit was inspired by desert, post-apocalyptic world and a little bit of Bratz dolls.”

“Everything I am wearing is thrifted, except the shoes. I love my Converse! Converse is one of a few brands I feel comfortable wearing, because, generally, I don’t like wearing brands at all. I like my clothes nameless, independent, and unique. The skirt, the bag and the bracelet are all from UFF. Today I was inspired by my new t-shirt and the upcoming gig of Ruusut. I was feeling colorful, gentle and light today. Queer culture is my biggest inspiration. The free and rebellious spirit of it makes me feel alive. I love to experiment, testing limits of gender and sexuality, combining styles, crafting unique, mixing completely different, tearing apart new, reviving old.”<

“I’m wearing a thrifted cap, a classic Marimekko Tasaraita long-sleeve, and a denim jacket with wide-leg jeans that I customized myself using thrifted Maija Isola’s Unikko curtain pieces. I completed the look with my selfmade upcycled bag, which also features the Unikko design. My style is heavily inspired by Marimekko, with a love for colorful and timeless prints. I enjoy wearing comfortable pieces, adding my own creative touches to clothing, and sewing unique bags.”

“Almost all of my clothes are from thrift shops except my sneakers and my jewelry, which are from Tetuan. I have dress pants and a button-up that I have given a bit of spice, a beret and my grandpa’s scarf on my waist as a skirt. I don’t have one source of inspiration, but when I see some cool things worn by people, I’m like, how can I add that to my outfits or how can I make that kind of outfit.”

“I usually don’t share my outfit secrets, but I’ll make an exception this time. My shoes are New Rocks I picked up in London after destroying my old shoes after walking 70,000 steps. The pants are from a French designer called Paradoxe. Wrapped around them is a Yohji longsleeve bought secondhand from Japan. The shirt’s also from Japan, the vest was thrifted locally, the hat’s a gift from my mom, and the leather bag I bargained for during my exchange year in the States. It’s from a small Brooklyn-based designer called Zam Barret. I’m not sure I can pinpoint exactly what inspires my style, as my outfits can get pretty bizarre, but this o

I’m also wearing my old second hand Nike as shoes and gold jewellery. I get a lot of inspiration from the 00s and especially the hiphop culture. I love having a lot of jewellery on me, it makes the outfit more interesting and detailed!”
