her vibrations were so finely tuned in his mind, it was like a familiar song at this point. as soon as he picked her up mentally, his feet were off – he followed her trail through the woods. she liked the natural world and kept to it more than populated areas. or maybe she was playing with him. either way, his shoulders tensed at her words, but he was no more surprised that she’d discovered him than she was he would be following her. turning on his heel, he craned his neck up to look for her hiding place. his eyebrows drew together in contemplation at the idea in her choice of words. “wouldn’t that be a little too normal for people like us?” 

“Leaving.” He repeated her with an assurance in his tone. He’s heard rumors from the survivors that leaving isn’t possible– that no matter if you run away you’ll always come back. It used to not concern him, it was a joke, fucking hilarious that they would even try to leave but now he gets it. He doesn’t look at the mask– refuses to even, but how absolutely fitting it was that the crack is in the crudely drawn smile.

Frank’s hands are trembling from rage, how ruthless he would be if he was sent out for another trial right now but still he wants nothing more than to leave or to test how far he can push the entity before it decides that he’s too much of a liability and kills him. He gives Eden’s hand a squeeze when she touches his nose, admittedly he hates when she does that, it always leaves a weird taste in his mouth. “I think you could have a chance at a normal life.” Frank couldn’t– Frank Morrison would be charged with four counts of murder if he ever showed back up.

                EYES LOOK OVER , hand shifting to hold his own softly . she tries not to laugh , his words seeming almost true , if she chose to ignore the way she got her powers , the random blackouts that lead to her being homeless after finding a seemingly normal cult ( that in its self , a normal cult , was an oxymoron ) . she pauses , shifting so that she could give him a soft hug before pulling away , giving a small smile .

              ‘ NO I’M NOT GOING TO READ YOUR PALM . ’ she didn’t do that . she preferred to use tarot cards if she had to , but she doesn’t read another person’s future , she tries not to delve into something so fragile . ‘ that’s kinda stereotypical y’know . ’

              ‘ CURIOUS HOW THESE THINGS HAPPENS . ’ voice is quiet , looking over at her for a moment before she speaks up once more . ‘ fate seems to push people to cross paths ... ’ a pause , she’s being too cryptic . ‘ what i’m trying to say is , i’m sorry for running into you . ’

              EDEN’S EYES FLICKERED OVER , peaking over her book shyly before she speaks up . ‘ do you think you could explain what happened again ? ’ she asked curiously , flipping a page once more . ‘ i think i’ve figured out something . ’

              SMOKE BILLOWS PAST LIPS , quiet as she tries her best to not to fit the obvious motif of a witch , though with all black attire and branches of trees seeming to wrap in a circular fashion around her back , it’s a little difficult . feeling a presence next to her she lets out a little chuckle , taking another puff of smoke . ‘ your aura is a dead giveaway . ’ she hummed quietly . ‘ it is fairly chaotic and anyone like me would be able to know what you’ve done just upon a glance . ’

              THE WATER MOVES AROUND HER HAND , eyes entirely focused on her spell , trying her best to create the image in her mind . but she can’t , causing the water to spill onto her hand . ‘ shit . ’ she huffs annoyed , glancing over alison with tired eyes . ‘ sorry , i’ll clean it up . ’

              SHE STAYS QUIET , looking over at him with curious eyes . he’s almost killed her multiple times but yet , here she is watching him from a tree . after another moment she speaks up finally , making her presence known . ‘ other than it being your quote-unquote sworn duty as a hunter to try and kill me , why are you so focused on me ? it’s almost like a childhood crush . ’ she teased gently .
