I saw the sparkle in your soul and felt my own answer.

I saw the light and the potentional of who you were and who you could be.

I saw the broken pieces and wanted to make things better.

I saw us.

I saw the joys and love we shared.

I saw us taking on the world.

I saw happily ever after.

I saw all the things that blinded me.

I saw them all fade from existence.

I saw myself slowly break apart as my dreams were one by one shattered.

I saw myself become someone I didn’t know as you revealed yourself.

I saw how little you cared for anyone but yourself.

I saw how you intentionally broke me down to get what you wanted.

I saw your lies for what they were.

I saw I could be stronger again and make it through all the pain.

The Story Goes On

I see how much I am worth and I am immeasurable.

I see what you did and I forgive myself for having had been weak and believing your lies.

I see how I was broken and I have become stronger.

I see I will never be the person I was because I am so much more now.

I see joy and love inside of me and I choose to let that grow.
