I got bored on a plane ride and drew my Absolute Steph Batgirl design with the canon Babs Batgirl design and look it was a nine hour flight and I wasn’t going off not much sleep and limited reference photos

Ughhhhh how does Mark Waid literally read my mind and completely nail what I wanted with this character. It also would make a lot more sense that he broke up with Laurie and ended up leaving altogether if internally that world didn’t feel genuine (the breakup is still a bit weird but it could’ve been a big contributing factor). It would actually be really fun to delve into what would feel genuine to him because as having your concept of reality completely shattered at like 15 probably played a hand in how he got so fucked up tbh
