To be successful in real estate I have to treat it like a real business. 5-Day demands for past due tenants are a must for any tenants that hasn't paid rent. In order to keep my cashflow stable I have to show my clients that I'm running my property like a business. Either push your limits or suffocate in your comfort zone. We live in a world where possibilities are endless, and frequently the reason one doesn't achieve their big goals and dreams is self-limitations. Limits like fear are often just an illusion. With a simple change in perspective, we are often able to overcome whatever is holding us back. Limiting beliefs are usually subconsciously self-imposed through repetitive thoughts or actions by ourselves or the people around us. Learn to catch yourself when you say things like 'I can't,' 'that's not possible,' or any negative thought at all, and teach yourself to say 'I can,' or 'I will.' Ask yourself why you're telling yourself you can't even before you even start doing it. It is VERY easy to complain about little things. But why complain? That literally does nothing but bring your own mental state down, and potentially the people around you. People that have worked with me know that I'm always positive because being anything else has no use. There are only 2 choices in this game: Reasons or Results My choice? RESULTS. Taking consistent action will achieve results. Being inconsistent or not taking action will leave you with Reasons why you couldn't achieve your desired outcome. Take action. Here is a pic of my first rental property. I bought it about 10 years ago. It has provided positive cashflow. Now it is worth twice what I paid for it. Plus I've raised rents and I'm still charging under fair market rent. Sounds like a great investment to me. Be an owner. Take the risk. You can make cashflow.
