If it had been Dean lord knows everyone would be like “aw but it’s not his fault” because for some reason everyone likes to bash Sam 🤷🏼‍♀️

So yeah, @slut-for-jared, I agree with you, except I do think Dean was partially responsible for it (just as much as Sam. And neither should be solely blamed. I personally blame the angels, especially Castiel, but I’m biased) and everyone in the fandom either didn’t see it or justified it by saying it wasn’t his fault. Because Dean himself doesn’t see it. He feels very comfortable letting Sam carry this burden (and others) all by himself.
