different beast: at the time i was like hmm. because i was letting him cook but 1 sounds bad 2 in retrospect is just weird and stupid because they don't keep up this level of cruelty and especially by writing out the fact odysseus in the original story kills penelope’s maids when he returns home it just feels like they fumbled this whole part of the character turning point like idk why they needed to add this in when they do just drive past the sirens originally. like they do just leave. why do you have to do random women violence. whatever. literally didnt need to be included. bad

overall rating 5/10. literally just mid. i had fun watching/listening to it with cocoa and that definitely helped. i wouldve given it a 6/10 if they didnt like odysseus so much. ive never liked that man so i cant understand the desire. but as an adaptation that takes its own spin it was Fine. musically had so many highs and lows and mids that it perfectly equalizes. #myreview
