There has to be more

Wow, this was a time capsule of an account to look through. I feel so deeply for the younger me who had so much going on inside her. I remember feeling that anger, despair, fear, guilt. Being so unsure how to change toxic behaviors and put herself first in life.

I’m immensely happy to report that’s no longer the case and I’m in such a more peaceful time in my life. I’m surrounded by friends, my boyfriend, family, coworkers, and community that loves me and that I love back. I have hobbies, fulfilling work, short and long-term goals, and a whole life that’s just…good! I look forward to all my days.

Your teenage years do not define you. Life gets so much better. I’m sending all the love and self acceptance I can back to little Amber.
