this morning i sipped my coffee and watched a pod of whales surfacing to breathe 120 yards off shore and this afternoon i scrambled over volcanic rock formations to search for starfish and sea urchins in the cape perpetua tide pools and i’m starting to feel as if the oregon coast might be my natural habitat 🐋
