“Actually I’m just visiting some family. My parents have been thinking of moving here to be closer though. It’s a mess really.” He put his arms behind his head again once they finished shaking, “So you might see me around more. It all depends really.”

“The school here is kinda lame, but everything   else is nice enough I guess.”

    “queen la broa, I did      NOT DIE. a FAMOUS      singer like ME can       NEVER DIE.”

“Wait, can everyone see you?”

So he’d actually fooled him huh? Good thing he’d never given the kid his full name, otherwise he might not’ve, “Well nice to meet you Jonathan.” He moved his arms from behind his head so he could extend a hand out to the boy to shake.

“Yeah, it's uh...nice to meet you too. You a   transfer student or something? I don't remember   seeing you around.”

“Hey sorry man, it was a dare.” He gave a shrug, deciding to ignore the comment on his skills for now. He knew he was, he’d shared the very first kiss after all, “You can call me Mephisto. What about you?”

“Ah--I'm Jonathan.”

With a sly grin, Mephistopheles decided to turn back around, disguising his voice to better fit his current body, “Yes? Something wrong?” He asked, clearly being an ass about it. Maybe being stuck like this would bring some fun.

    Okay, he really just needed to shut up, now he was     humiliating himself.

“Exactly kid. I mean I am the narrator for this story.” The Grinch comment went right over his head, “Why does everyone think I’m Irish? Hair does not equal a race people.”

“Superiority complex, much? You're pretty cocky. And no,   red hair doesn't equal being Irish, but you look like the   stereotype, suit and hair and all. You even have a little   emblem, it’s just not a clover.”

sketches i did in school, i finished earlier in Digital Image and  i was like hey

           “No.” What a liar. “You’ve got me mistaken for someone else.”

    He tried to do his best at keeping a decent grade average, but     being haunted made him miss things here and there, and it's     not exactly like the teachers would believe him. Still, Jonathan     could swear he knew this guy.

“Like I said, poor storytelling.” Mephistopheles flipped around back right side up, “But I will say you don’t have to worry about me. Yet.”

“Poor storytelling? You must have a passion for narrating.   And whats with the hair dude? You look like an Irish version   of the Grinch.”
