     “MAY!” he screeched as he was suddenly pulled into her grasp. Immediately he began to squirm against her hold. “I absolutely will not!”

                    “---why not? C’mon!! It’ll be cute!!”

     “Give it up May! I’m not going to act like Briar because I’m not Briar.”

     Again, she ignored him completely and instead knelt in front of him. Cooing and giggling, she pulled him into her arms all while petting the top of his head.

     “Do I look like Briar to you?”

    There had been a small shriek from the other side of the home, causing the coordinator to look up briefly from the puzzle he was completing with his cousin. They were sure it couldn’t be anything important, at least they had thought so until a familiar set of swears in Italian rang throughout the house which made them realize maybe it wasn’t so unimportant after all. Luckily for them, both boys didn’t have to leave their spot as the source of the sound came into the kitchen, belonging to a very startled and flustered Gemma.

    Before Drew could even ask what had frighten her so much, he saw the familiar dragon attempting to poke its head into the room. Green eyes widen in disbelief as he hadn’t expected the Pokemon to actually enter the house upon his return. For now he could only be lucky that his grandmother was out getting the last essential, otherwise she might have had a heart attack with the creature standing in her kitchen.

    “Flygon you were suppose to wait back in my room,” he stated as he got up from his seat. In response the Pokemon crooned once the coordinator was near him before nudging him towards the living room. “He-hey! What’s gotten into you?”

    “It has to be something important if I caught him walking through the halls,” Gemma added only to pause when she heard a small snickering from the table. She turned to stick out her tongue at Nico before turning to give her attention back to Drew who was already halfway at the door now thanks to Flygon’s persistence. With a shrug, both Haydend followed after him as Drew was finally placed in front of the door thanks to the Pokemon.

    “None of this makes sense…” He gave a small rub to the back of his head only to stop when he felt a small prod from Flygon again before the Pokemon signal towards the door. “Alright alright. I don’t know what you expec– May?!” Well, he certainly hadn’t expected to find his rival at his family’s doorstep.

     Grinning lightly, May rocked back and forth on her heels. She was a little curious about what her rival’s family was like and was almost tempted to look around him to see what might be going on in there (especially after having heard some screams), but she figured that would count as an invasion of privacy to some. Instead, she took a small step back away from the door and away from him.
