When Maggie wrapped her arms around Farah, there was a moment of paralyzing fear. The strong arms gliding around her waste, for a moment felt like a grab. As though another vampire was scooping her up. It was only when she felt the softness; the hesitation when she realized it was Maggie. She let out a breath and leaned into the chilling hold. She smiled lightly and leaned back for a moment, head tilting back to look at her. Those crimson eyes, while terrifying, filled her with ease. “I don’t think they stock these often enough to make a meal,” she murmured as she looked at the machine. “You know, this late we would need to go to Port Angeles…”
It would give them a chance to talk. She was concerned. It seemed like changing her had been put on Maggie’s back burner right when it was at its most pressing. It was a conversation she needed to have. “I’m up for it if you are?” She grinned a little and pocketed the coins before grasping her hand in hers tightly. She glanced back at the machine for a moment and forno reason at all besides to impress, she knocked a candy bar off the shelf. Why bring coins at all? Well, she rarely stole. She was hungry though so it was a win win. She grabbed it and tilted her head a little. “How was hunting?” She asked with a grin. Likely disturbing and littered with homicide but still.
for a brief second, maggie felt bad for startling farah. however, as she relaxed, an soft chuckle escaped from the back of her throat. she looked down towards farah, pressing her lips against her girlfriend's cheek. "a vending machine isn't fit to be a meal anyways, cheetos and snickers are disgusting." she said, her nose crinkling at the idea of eating them. for nearly two-hundre d years, the vampire found human food absolutely repulsive...but she had to make sure farah was taken care of.
"port angeles?" she questioned, pursing her lips a bit. it was quite a bit away, but, if that's what they had to do, that's what they were going to do. "let's go get my keys." she prompted, taking hold of farah's hand. the vampire watched as farah used her ability in the middle of the lobby. maggie's disapproval was shown through the crimson glare she was giving her girlfriend at this very moment. "it was fine. come on," she said, leading farah to the elevator and quickly to their apartment. "would you like to drive?" she questioned, stripping out of her blood soaked sweater and tossing it into the laundry hamper. mags was usually one to be dressed rather proper, but since it was just farah and a trip out of town, the vampire settled for a black hoodie and jeans.
we love 2 moms!

“Well, happy hunting,” Farah mused with a soft smile as the stone cold arm she’d been resting against receded. So soon, but she understood. If not now, then when? All she wanted to do was curl up and make some plans other than baths in gloriously crafted bathtubs. She didn’t like seeing her leave, but it wasn’t as if she could go with her vampiric lover. When she was gone, Farah let out a long sigh and let the warm water taker her; sinking into it up to her shoulders. Her nails danced along the edge of the bath, and when she was sure that she was gone she even began to move it. Churning the bubbles out of boredom. It was safe to play when the hungry vampire was away… bloody noses weren’t always met with eyes of awe. Hunting took a while. She got out of the bath after a long while.
She wrapped herself in what was probably one of the nicest things she’d ever felt against her skin and wandered around the empty apartment. Void of any creature comforts to make it… unique and lived in. Farah was a bit of a slob. She was nervous looking at a place so immaculate. So, she sat on the bed and got dressed in her classic grey tank and black checkered pj pants. It was late.. The shrouded sun had set. Farah slipped off the bed and threw on a robe before grabbing a handful of quarters. She was hungry, and the vending machine downstairs had some goodies. She wandered down to the lobby to ponder, eyes raking over the selection of chips and candy.
maggie found herself a little too far outside of forks, so she allowed herself a big dinner, taking two, large drunk men for herself. she could taste the alcohol in them and swore if she could get drunk, she would be calling farah to come get her. it was already late, the sun had set at least two hours ago and she didn't want to keep farah waiting any longer. mags rushed home as fast as she possibly could, finding herself back in the town after little over an hour. to maggie, there was nothing like running through the trees at night. she could spend her entire life in the forest and never be bothered. a sigh slipped through her lips as she came to a slow hault, emerging from the trees to walk towards her apartment building.
the vampire, dressed in all black, stepped into the lobby, crimson eyes immediately landing on farah across the room. for a split second, she was worried--she didn't like farah being out of the apartment while she wasn't there. she knew that others of her kind lived in the same complex and who knew what would have happened if she had come home to farah being gone. long strides took the petite vampire across the room, wrapping her cold, slender arms around her girlfriend's waist. "are you sure you don't want to go midnight grocery shopping?"
nvwbcrn:
“ why ? looking for a new reality ? “ bad joke salem bad bad joke. the human props his chin in his hand as he examines her. petite. pretty. primarily feeds off blood- another vampire. “ if it helps i’m looking for a housemate- but be warned i have a pet . you’re free to come check it out , “ salem’s voice drops just low enough for human ears to be unable to catch; “ provided you dont eat me of course “ the human spares her another glance, she is pretty even for a vampire but he cant help the jump in his chest as he decides august is even prettier. august didnt have much if any competition these days.
theodosia couldn't help the chuckle that passed her lips as he spoke, prompting her to turn her head towards the human to her right. theo always found herself more comfortable around those with beating hearts, having been surrounded by them for nearly two thousand years. "we may both be in luck. i also have a pet and haven't eaten a human in eight-hundred years." she said, not bothering to lower her voice in the noisy diner. "i'm theodosia."
vcmpiirc:
“ n o . “ vivienna cuts in smoothly, crimson eyes focused on the glass in her hand. there had been few good realtors in town- unfortunately for the newcomer, vivienna had just ate him. she casts a look at the other, dark lashes framing vibrant eyes. when she speaks its too low for the humans to hear but she knows her voice will carry strong to the other immortal. “ nomad ? or coven ?? “
for the last few centuries, theodosia had very minimal contact with others of her kind, and when she did, it was a passing, friendly hello and no other words were spoken. however, she knew that this interaction would be nothing like the rest. her head turned, golden eyes landing on the immortal sat next to her. "nomad," she said, keeping her voice at the 'vampire volume' she had started becoming too familiar with.
“ no more chasing, yeah? “ august asks, knows that there’s a truth behind it because now that he knows she’s alive still ( mostly ) then there’s almost no chance he’ll leave forks without her and the coven in tow. “ it’s not some giant house but it does well for keeping me undercover. where are you staying? “
theo chuckled, shrugging her shoulders. "i don't expect some big mansion, from what i remember you prefer the simple things." she smiled, looking up towards her brother as she spoke. "i'm in a hotel for now, but i'm looking for something hidden in the trees. so far, no luck, but i'm committed."

“Do you remember their faces?” Fiona asked hesitantly. Human memories were so difficult. She didn’t even like seeing them… so foggy and unclear, with limited color. They were quiet, but then so loud and confused at times. Vampire memories were far easier to navigate. That being said, it didn’t matter. She could only see what she remembered. “I just… I don’t remember anything, other than our brother… he got sick,” she paused a moment. “But I looked into it, and our sister married and she had four children… she was doing well,” Fiona looked at her hands a little. “But I don’t remember our parents… or anyone other than you,”
maggie dropped her head. she didn't like digging into the past. she missed her brother, and while she was never very fond of their sister, it hurt to hear that she never met her brother-in-law or her nieces or nephews. "i remember william." she said, recalling the blue-eyed man with shaggy blonde hair, the faintest hint of a smile cross her lips. "i don't remember catherine, though. she was blonde, and had pretty green eyes.. but that's all i remember about her. and i don't remember our parents. i know they left us when we were young and william and catherine cared for us, and brought us to america. but other than that, i'm at a loss."
Farah shifted, rolling over in the bath as the jets softly moved the water around her. It was lovely… warm. She wanted to pull Maggie in with her. The way the water turned, she had a feeling the jets would keep it warm. She reached out, holding her hand with her arm resting on the side of the tub. Her chin rested carefully on her arm. She just… stared at her. She was so beautiful. Calculatingly so. Being this close was more than enough. The warm bath was soothing; she enjoyed disappearing beneath the bubbles. “Texas really is something else. They must have loved you though,” she mused with a soft grin. Too much sun though. Then she couldn’t help chuckling a little…. hunting animals. It was something she’d considered.
“Would you ever switch to animals?” Farah asked curiously, eyes on hers. She knew that the idea was probably as repulsive to Mags as tofu was to Farah, but she was curious too. If they did that, then they could acclimate to human life. Be normal. Make friends. Have the things vampires forsake. Then there was the morality of it. Farah wasn’t sure how she felt about killing for a meal. She wasn’t sure if that would change. How much would?
the longer mags admired farah, the more comfortable she felt around the human again. before, it didn't matter how long she had gone without hunting or how loud farah's pulse was, she could be around her without wincing. now, she was beginning to fall back in line. maggie narrowed her eyebrows as farah spoke of hunting animals, a disgusted look falling over her pale features. "it wasn't great...the hunt was rather thrilling. but i'm not too fond of having to work for a meal. i suppose if i settled into the habit that it could be something to get used to." she shrugged, thinking over the idea. it would definitely make things easier between the two of them.
with a sigh, maggie stood from the side of the tub. "i'm going to go hunt while you enjoy your bath." she said, leaning forward and pressing her cold lips to farah's forehead. “towels are in the closet behind you, make yourself at home while i’m gone.” as much as she hated spending anytime away from her, it was better for the both of them if she went ahead and got this out of the way. the vampire sped through the house and out the door, doing as she promised and making her way out of the small town of forks. she didn't want to be gone for long, but didn't want to cause too much of a stir with the police.
“Well, Angela Weber,” Fiona smiled softly as she tilted her head, looking her over without shame. She could already tell by the flush of her cheeks that she was at least visually interested. “I’ve had a hard time making friends since I’ve arrived… Maybe after my shift, if you’re free… you could show me where to get a decent milkshake?” Her tone was soft. “I had this place back home that was perfect, but I haven’t been able t’find anything close.”
angela was usually pretty hesitant with people she didn't know, but something drew her to fiona. she was curious about her, and she seemed nice enough. tucking her hair behind her ears, she nodded, a shy smile playing on her pink lips. "uh, yeah. i may be able to help with that."
“Her-” she corrected. For somebody who considered herself a little manic or chaotic, she followed the law. Religiously. Without question or hesitation, but she didn’t feel this was the time for preaching about what was and what wasn’t allowed in her sisters relationship. Still, she looked like she’d swallowed a frog. “No, I mean, not unless you want me to… I just have an odd… request,” she bit her lip hesitantly. Sometimes people didn’t understand. “Do you remember a lot? About… us? My first newborn hours weren’t really spent trying to recall… but I know so little about you, and what I do isn’t through your eyes.”
maggie took her sister's hand in her own. it had been so long since she had seen her sister or relived the memories of their childhood that it would be hard to recall everything. what she did remember was traumatic, something that she didn't want fiona to have to remember. "um," she began, trying to find the words. "after our parents left, our brother and sister took care of us, and around the time we turned nine, we came to america...and the only thing i remember after that is falling in love with peter and then becoming this."

Farah watched more closely as her love backed away. It was smart, but she couldn’t help letting her face fall for a moment. It didn’t matter. If she was good, she would join her. That was the deal… so she let her collect herself. “Where will you hunt?” she asked hesitantly. “You should do it before… tonight. I want to sleep with you- if that’s okay…” she missed curling up against her. She knew it could be difficult the closer she got to her neck… she couldn’t help it. She just wanted to be close. She wanted to lunge into her, but the warning… it was there. So, she stripped the rest of her clothes with a hint of seduction to every move. How she wished she could entrance Mags the way she captivated Farah. Every movement was a graceful waltz, but she simply wanted to use what she had at her disposal.
She dipped her hand into the bath and grinned a little lightly before reaching out and turning the taps once again with her telekinetic grip. The ringing in her ears only hurt a little, but she knew she was long off any kind of legitimate issues. She slipped into it; dipping down to her shoulders in hot water and bubbles. She hummed contently; the smell of lavender filling the air. Hesitantly she reached up her hand. “Can you come closer? I won’t… kiss you again, or get too close I just…” she chuckled and pushed herself up, resting her arms on the edge of the tub. “I could hold your hand… you could tell me what you’ve been doing since you’ve been gone.”
maggie tilted her head to the side, shrugging her shoulders just slightly. "i have been trying to hunt outside of forks..but i suppose i am opportunistic." she explained, a slight sense of humor slipping through her words. "i can hunt before tonight, if that's what you want." she said, a small smile playing across her lips. farah could ask for the entire world and maggie would find some way to give it to her. this simple request was no big deal, as it was something she needed and wanted to do.
mags watched over farah as she got into the bath, once again impressed with how she used her ability. she entered the room at farah's request, sitting against the edge of the bathtub, taking her hand. "since i've been gone, i spent a lot of time in montana and tried my hand at hunting animals.." she chuckled, shaking her head. having to chase down an animal who was used to running from a predator was more of a challenge that chasing down a human who she had a great advantage over. "i, somehow, ended up in texas at some point. the people down there are something else."
