I’m such a big sucker for YA’s so I am so thankful for Danielle Rocco for giving me an e-book of her debut novel. I feel honored giving this novel a review. ***Heads up for a few spoilers in this review*** I was never the hopeless romantic type of girl. I don’t believe in forever when in comes loving someone because I know feelings are just temporary. But I do believe that there is a lifetime in love. I also don’t believe in love at first sight and those slow motions or fast forwards when you see the “one” does not really appeal to me. But just because I don’t believe in these do not mean that I did not enjoy reading the story of Jace and Shay. Oh, I enjoyed reading Labeled Love so much! Shay and Jace were at a very young age, 12 and 13 respectively, when they met and fell in love. And I know a lot of people out there would think that it’s too young to fall in love in those ages. But the thing is, what Jace and Shay have is real even at such a young age. And I am so happy that their feelings grew deeper and stronger through time. And Jace is another book boyfriend to die for. he is such a gentleman and have I mentioned he’s swoony with his sweet words? He showed how a girl should be treated and how one should fight for what they want. And what I appreciate the most is that their relationship is such a big reminder that love just happens; it comes just like that. So there’s no rushing into it, love every moment you have with your significant other and learn the littlest things about him/her. So thank you Danielle Rocco for introducing this wonderful characters to us. There were some parts, however, that were too cheesy especially in the first 100 pages but there were also parts that literally tugged on my heart strings. There were a few times when I literally had to put down my phone because of too much feels. Danielle Rocco was able to give a story about first love that is so genuine and true. It not only opened my eyes for appreciating our loved ones but also opened our hearts to loving them unconditionally. How the author was able to put in so much emotion in a book is admirable indeed. I have really shallow tears and I cried at the last part of the story. My heart literally broke for these two characters.I can’t wait to read the next book. I totally recommend this to anyone who is a big sucker for YA like me.
