Haylkarts

for so long I’ve been able to keep up a lot of self-motivation to draw whatever came to mind but damn for a few months now it’s felt like an uphill battle. this comes with the territory of having to make fan/ship stuff for yourself but fuck it’s tiring. well, that and making myself into some lukewarm vending machine littering dented cans around. I’m especially mad at myself for that. time spent making junk could have been put to something decent, or maybe even okay-ish. 

could probably just blame a lot of personal things/changes (and probably Should) but idk I’m just disappointed in myself. feel like for something I put so much free time into I should have something to show for it.

just really reminds me of when I was told the only thing in art I was consistently good at was being inconsistent. was 20 at the time and I still can’t fucking forget that. was some game-industry prick too, he designed one of the most boring looking protagonists of all time lmao. I just hate proving him right. it has been years and I’m still proving that fucker right.
