“To me it’s like, what’s the point. We will be eighteen in less than a year and then our lives are finally ours.” He said with a shrug. “Jonahs attachment time them is weird to me. It’s never been like that before.” He said with a shrug, “charming is actually not a skill on mine but I’ll consider adding it to the list.” He said with a small laugh. “I should probably settle in first and make friends before I start looking for anything more.”

“Have you talked to him about it? Jonah must have his reasons.” She briefly explained. “Maybe he see something in them that you haven’t seen yet.” Haylee sighed. “That’s a shocker that you don’t consider yourself charming. But you certainly will have me to talk to if need be.” She stated with a small smile.

“I guess I have new parents now? I consider them as volunteer care takers though.” He shrugged. He found it weird that Jonah referred to their foster parents as mom and dad, it actually bugged Jesse a lot. “Well if these girls that will be lining up aren’t as pretty as you they can keep on walking.” HE said with a smile.

“Well I guess it depends on how deeply your brother has connected with them, but if they’re new to you - you shouldn’t be expected to see them as family straight away.” Haylee said with a shrug of her shoulders. She knew from stories about the foster system, but didn’t know anyone who had experienced it. She hummed in amusement. “Well you certainly know how to be charming. Who knows, maybe I’ll be one in the future.” She jested.

“You got two more dads than I got. I’d pay to switch.” He said with a smile. He had been through hell, he couldn’t find it in his heart to even think about hating someone based off their race or sexuality and found it disgusting when people did. “I didn’t do the trig homework, it is my first day.” He said with a laugh. “I don’t think so. They would run scared at the baggage I carry.”

“I guess you’re right.” She sighed. Haylee did find it nice for someone who didn’t seem as shocked when she mentioned that she had two dads. “True.” She laughed. Raising her eyebrows. “You’ll find someone who’ll accept you with all the baggage you carry, it may take some time but I’m sure it will be worth it.”

“Two dads? I would have told them to stuff it. Two sounds like you are very lucky.” He said with a smile. he was right, no one had a perfect life. “That is easy, I am better looking so if you run into one of us and you are like, um he is not as cute as the other you know it’s Jonah.” He said with a laugh. “What a shame, I need the morale boost of having some random girl kiss me.”

“Well aren’t you sweet?” Haylee rhetorically asked. “Oh, nowadays people don’t say anything because I can be venomous with my words.” Flicking her hair back, she smiled mischievously. “Or I can just ask if you did the trig homework.” She said bluntly. “I’m sure you’ll be asked out by several girls soon. You’re hot enough.”

“I don’t know, does everyone have them?” Jesse turned and asked. “You know that foster system, it aint to great.” HE pointed out with a shrug and flashed a smile. “Nice to meet you Haylee, I’m Jesse as previously mentioned”

“Oh. Well I guess that’s different. I put up with a lot of adult discrimination when I was younger for having two dads. But no one can have a perfect life, there’s always flaws. If they say otherwise, they’re the biggest fucking liars.” Haylee shrugged her shoulders. “Well I know need to remember to ask which twin is which now if I bump into you or Jonah. At least from what I know your bro isn’t in any relationships, so hopefully you don’t get anyone running up and kissing you.”

he didn’t know whether to say yes or no . she had told him to move on . that there was nothing between the pair . so he just assumed that what they shared meant nothing to him ❛ ummm yeah —- no ?  ❜ he didn’t know how to respond but then again it wasn’t like her reply held anything nut hostility .  ❛ i mean yes . with everything going around and the whole kidnapping thing . i wouldn’t want you —– just want to make sure you make him home safe .  ❜ regardless of what had gone down with them , a part of him cared for her even if it wasn’t romantic. 

It was hard somewhat to see him, back then she had been scared - and even now she was somewhat scared about the concept of being in a relationship. Giggling in amusement, Haylee shook her hair as she tried to get the thought out of her head. “Still the same Apollo when being placed in an awkward position.” She purred, flinging her towel over her shoulder. Her stomach clenched as he mentioned he wanted her to be safe. Even though she had hurt him in the past. “If this is a ruse to get in my pants Barbas, I’ll kick your ass. But sure.” She walked past him to open her locker to grab her things.

Jesse smiled softly, “Yeah, we have our family issues.” He said with shrug. “He can be quiet about it, plus he had no Idea where I was for the past year so there is that.” HE said with a smile to lighten the mood.

“Doesn’t everyone have them?” Haylee asked with a sigh. Hearing his comment, her ears couldn’t help but perk with interest. It did just remind her of her missing friend. “Well that’s certainly something. But having no idea where someone is, it’s a bit of an issue here at the moment. So I guess it is good that he has you back. I’m Haylee by the way.”

Upon his arrival at Paradise Hills, Jesse knew he was in a better place. He looked around the halls of his new school before his eyes landed on someone passing. “Hey, I’m Jesse. I’m new.” He said with a smile. “I know I have a twin running around here that has been here for a while, But I promise. I’m not him.”

Haylee was on her way from class and had been assigned a partner for an assessment. Just when she thought she had the right person, it turned out it wasn’t. “Right. I was about to call you Jonah. Sorry.” She said with a small smile. “He never mentioned a twin. But then again I don’t know your brother well.”

it’s not strange that haylee is at his house , when it’s not lux is her and it’s almost routine. he lifts his head up from his phone as he sees the raven haired femme ❛ darmali you still here ?  ❜ getting up he walks over to the kitchen island and leans on it , his chin resting on his hand ❛ can i ask you a question ?  ❜

Yawning as she came out of her bestie’s room, Haylee woke up more when she heard her name. “Duh. Sorry for crashing in Josslyn’s room last night, my dads were just having an argument and I did not want to be stuck in the middle again.” Their friendship was strange, he was a dealer and Haylee stayed far away from drugs - but somehow they were close. Jumping up onto the counter, she looked at Jackson. “Shoot. What’s up?”

shes a sight for sore eyes , walking out of practice he sees her walking down the hallway and god knows he shouldn’t even open his mouth but with people abducted and all he can’t afford to let anything happen to her ❛ do you need a ride ?  ❜

Sighing as she walked down the hallway drying her hair with the towel after changing out from her swimsuit, Haylee looked up at the voice and looked blankly at him. It was strange to do see Apollo actually talking to her, seeing as they have pretty much avoided one another since breaking up in freshman year. “You want to give me a ride?” Her voice came out slightly harsh with the shock of his question.

“ well look at you , aren’t you snappy this morning . relax darmali. all I’m saying is that this whole ass voting poll is ridiculous and you are imposible to stay away from things like this or am I wrong ? ” leo was blunt and he didn’t apologize from when he said things , sometimes people took it the wrong way but there wasn’t anything as too much honesty  ? grabbing a french fry from her plate he shoved into his mouth “ did you do the homework for trig cause I didn’t understand the last four questions ” 

“Only because you’re being a utter dickhead. You’re saying that I’m entertained by ridiculous things? If it was other people who weren’t friends of mine that had to be saved, I wouldn’t really have bothered with it. But you wouldn’t understand because you don’t have any friends, do you Ross?” Venom was dripping from Haylee’s tongue, her mind honestly being tempted to slap him then and there, but she held back. Glaring at him, she picked up the spare fork on the table and pointed the utensil at the boy. “Don’t touch my food again or this is going in your eye. And I did - but why should I help when you haven’t offered something that would interest me?”

❛ haylee no I mean theo. british soccer player , senior .  ❜ the brunette says as she looks at her best friend ❛ you haven’t spent enough time around jackson to pin point his decisions and what he thinks it’s best for me . they have been best friends for such a long time and I don’t want to ruin in that you know . I want to be able to be okay with everyone , so maybe I should just take a break . ❜

“Right, my bad. It’s confusing when Zeke has two first names as his name. But I don’t know Theo that well. The only I know is that his accent is very attractive.” Haylee explained. The raven haired girl looked at the other. “I will slap him silly if he tries to jeopardize your love life hun. He may intimidate others, but not me.” She said firmly. “Also, do you think that maybe she’s thinking about the same thing? She also might be worried about her friendship with Jackson. I think you need to talk to her and tell her how you feel. But no matter what Joss, I will have your back.”

❛ okay so like i kind of might have kissed theo and slept with him but we didn’t sleep like we didn’t have sex but raine is so sweet and she came over and we talked and lord , i just wanted to kiss her face but —- i like theo and then jackson hates him but if i even male a move on raine , jackson will hate me and i don’t — long story short is i am incapable of picking the right people .  ❜

“You mean Zeke? Doesn’t he have a girl? Addision?” Haylee asked, thinking over about all the relationships she knew about, but sometimes she did miss a loop. Tilting her head, the girl flicked back her hair. “Hun, I’m pretty sure your brother doesn’t like many people. But couldn’t that Raine girl be thinking the same thing because she’s close with Jackson? But it’s also your love life and he’ll get over if he sees that you’re happy.”

“ i think that they just have this idea that because they have some authority that we will just listen without asking questions . ” his books are open on the table as he looks at the brunette  “ but i am guessing you did vote , because let’s be real when have you been able to actually stay away from drama ? ”

“I also think they forgot they were talking to teenagers, who the majority don’t have a mature enough brains.” Haylee’s eyes got darker as she glared at the boy. “Excuse you Leo. I gossip, I don’t exactly get involved with the drama unless it involves words. But yes I did vote because I would like Shae back. I miss my friend. I didn’t vote for the entertainment like some people. So please don’t assume that I’m some attention seeker, or you’ll end up being humiliated.”

“So my Bambi eyes will still work to my advantage? I’m going to take note of that for next time.” She laughed at that. “The good kind or the bad? I’m asking so I know what to watch out for. Damn right. No one can replace you other, Hales.”

“Your Bambi eyes work on everyone hun. No one could resist you.” Haylee teased, gently pinching the other girl’s cheeks. “Both kinds. But as long as you don’t find the dealers, you’ll be fine.” She smiled. “Of course no-one can, I’m awesome.”
