Asharq Al-Awsat: Egypt has called for “mutual benefit” and shared interests among Nile Basin countries while reiterating its rejection of unilateral actions on the river, in a renewed reference to Ethiopia’s Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty stressed the importance of cooperation and consensus among Nile Basin states during meetings with his Kenyan and Tanzanian counterparts on the sidelines of the Korea–Africa Ministerial Meeting in Seoul.
