Hawkeye's Bi

this is back in my notes and I love the number of people in the rbs who think that by “here” I meant “tumblr” and that ofc abed would do numbers bc he’s autistic and gay and into various tv shows but what EYE meant by “here” was “mashblr”, specifically “the corner of mashblr where we understand that the CBS war dramedy M*A*S*H (1972-1983) exists in a timeloop”

I think one of the hundred reasons “where there’s a will there’s a war” gets me so hard is that it’s the only episode where it’s just “yeah both the a plot and b plot are about Hawkeye and BJ going through it over each other but alone and unlike other episodes where they have a cathartic conversation or moment of connection, in this one they never really connect, they just Go Through It”....like in true “Hawkeye doesn’t hear BJ over the sound of the chopper” fashion Hawkeye has no idea BJ has gone through this deeply stressful emotional journey of thinking he’s not only lost him but killed him and BJ has no idea hawkeye is not only not mad at him but has spent what he thought might be the final moments of his life thinking of how to leave BJ something special enough to convey how he feels about him....they just don’t know

and when Hawkeye gets back they still talk past each other.... BJ is like “remind me to give you a kiss in the morning” and Hawkeye is like “omg I’ve been so stupid...of course he’s thinking about his wife and child....and I’ve been trying to leave him something of MINE in my will but I have nothing to offer him, I’m gonna leave his daughter evidence that he’s the best guy in the world”.....meanwhile BJ, half asleep and crashing from an adrenaline rush, has just confessed to wanting to kiss him.....crazy
