       had always allowed herself the habit of her mind racing around every possible scenario, a habit that brunette had caught long ago. call it anxiousness from unpredictability of her family, maybe the seclusion that her father had forced upon her at such a young age. this instance was no different — fear brewing far between veins as she pushed her limits of being vulnerable with parker, tiptoeing around her true feelings & allowing what-if's to cloud around years of painful unrequited desire. ❛ parker. ❜ name breathes out softly as he speaks and she's unsure of exactly why, as if she was trying to wake herself up from the perfect dream. his hands are gently pressed against her skin & she feels like fire, shamelessly wondering how such a basic touch could omit such an electrifying response. and damn it, she should stop him . . . a million and one reasons begging to come to the surface screaming at her, her father being the main character in almost every one of them. he won't like it, in fact if he even caught wind of this being a possibility, it would cause utter hell for them both. you think i'll allow you to parade around with him with cameras flashing everywhere you go? the words whisper in her head, and yet the declaration spilling from his lips scream overtop. she's hanging on to each word, eyes softening more & more, realization hitting her that this was real. he finishes his sentence & she nearly cuts him off, hand reaching up to the back of his neck & closing the space, emotions flooding her veins to the point that she simply couldn't take it anymore. lips close onto his in a heated exchange, years of built up tension finally coming to it's abrupt end, and now there was no turning back. she quickly pulls away, eyes widening almost in shock, as even after such a confession, her heart still beats out of her chest at the sudden move. ❛ fuck it, i love you. i'm so damn in love with you. ❜
