Often considered the weakest of all Starter PokƩmon, Meganium had been waiting for a new form for 25 years- before Mega Meganium finally made it into the powerhouse it's always deserved to be! Mega Meganium is the sole PokƩmon to have the ability Mega Sol, an ability that allows all its moves to have the effects of harsh sunlight, no matter the weather. This is due to the four flowers on its neck having the capacity to store vast amounts of solar energy, allowing it to fire off Solar Beams without the charge turn- a move that's known as Mega Sol Cannon when Mega Meganium uses it. And those blasts hurt! Mega Meganium gains a whopping 60 points in its Special Attack, putting it at 143, and it also gains an additional Fairy typing, letting it also do tremendous damage to the Dragon types that would otherwise resist its Grass moves. Other than the powerful beams it can produce, Mega Meganium's flowers also can create and emit a fragrant substance that can either calm down or greatly agitate those that inhale it, and this PokƩmon isn't afraid to take advantage of it to win battles! Where regular Meganium is rather docile, Mega Meganium is far more confident and bold in battle, backed up by tough defenses and an increased strength. Careful it doesn't get overconfident and go on a rampage! But if anyone's earned that right, for its patience alone, it's gotta be Meganium!
