This is a side blog for @hashtag-anthems, so my recent followers don't have to be inundated with my frostiron posting. I'll follow and like from there, but reblog and reply here.

I used to be really into the MCU, but fell out of love with it somewhere in phase 3, finally divorced it after Infinity War, and recently started revisiting phases 1 and 2. I'm primarily here for Loki and Tony, but Natasha holds a special place in my heart too.

I have one singular frostiron mermaid au oneshot on my Ao3 if anyone is interested in it.

I'm one of those Loki fans that didn't like Ragnarok or the Disney+ series, and I specifically didn't watch Endgame because I didn't want to pay money to watch the rest of my favorite characters die, so my knowledge/memory of canon is patchwork at best at this point, but I've been having fun reminiscing about this series, and I think I'm ready to dip my toes back into the fandom.

So, you see, this one is tricky because most people I follow are either inconsistent posters or aren't consistently in Loki fandom, so I'm not sure how helpful I can be here.

Are all great and are all quite consistent.

Everyone else I follow are either kind of in fifty different fandoms and post about Loki sometimes, but not frequently, or they do have a Loki-centric blog, but they're posting once a year.

So, while trying to come up with the list for your ask, I ran into the realization that I probably wouldn't mind some recommendations too 😅.

People who’ve tried to get into superhero comics and failed, what was the biggest reason why?

The cockiness and the easy defeat and the dismissing the player because they're a child and he's a grown-up doesn't make sense on a seasoned mob boss, but it would make more sense on an early 20s yakuza heir first foray into the family business. He's allowed to do business on behalf of his family, but he doesn't have to worry about consequences because he's not in charge of anything major yet. If it turns out he's bad at crimes he could just be a pokemon trainer.

But then Silver happened and he had to take a real hard look at what he's doing and if his life is one he wants to pass on. Maybe take a break from Team Rocket to think it through. This man knows how to lie and charm, if he wants Silver to join the family business the kid has zero option; but instead he said the exact things necessary to turn his son away from crimes forever. He himself chose to fully commit to organized crime, and this is where we get the ambitious supervillainry that spawns Team Rainbow Rocket, because when he truly dedicate himself to it, he's horrifyingly good at being a mob boss.

It's worth noting that this is just the amount wagered, so it doesn't reflect how much money gamblers lost. At least some of that had to be paid out as winnings, or no one would keep betting, and state governments also take a cut as tax revenue. But as we all (hopefully) know, the house always wins:
