Danganronpa: but I bully Celesgiri 🖤💜

💜 She applies to the knights, aces the writing test, strategy, and performs well in the physical test enough that she gets in and put into the highest chosen batch of knights that year. Since she applied without a family name and placed the hometown of her mother as her own home + is placed in such a prestigious batch, she was given the full name of Kyoko (of) Sakikitsu. (咲切, blossoming/blooming cut).

💜 Despite her great results in strategy, she chose the offensive/defensive sector as she'll have more freedom there. She shares a bunker with Makoto (of Naegi) who got into the ultimate batch via lucky draw from the regular batches who is in off/def as well, Aoi Asahina from a navy family is also in off/def but focusing on Navy training, and Chihiro (of) Fujisaki who is in the strategy sector. Turns out Makoto is trans, Chihiro was also assumed to be a girl when they were separating the bunks by gender.

❤️ Celestia tries to escape and Kyoko, bc she wanders off on her own to find ways to get to her father and investigating weird things happening on the grounds that she's curious about, keeps catching her; Celestia is under the impression that Kyoko is purposefully stopping her so in her head she's treats it as a game to win to escape from the castle but she keeps getting caught.

💜 Kyoko is similar but more so she's curious why the youngest princess is sneaking about and tries to follow her to find out, bc she's the curious type and gets the feeling that it isn't exactly for good reasons, however Celestia is also rather high alert and catches her too but Kyoko's under the impression that she's been caught. However, curiosity only fully kills the cat when it doesn't get satisfaction, so Kyoko has made it a habit to wander around specifically to tail Celestia. So it's just this loop for a long while

💜 ❤️ Any time Kyoko just decides to ask her, Celestia deflects cheekily which just makes Kyoko more curious and whenever Celestia asks why she keeps going after her since she's just a guard or knight in training Kyoko either doesn't answer or she says it in a vague/basic enough way that lets Celestia misunderstand.

💜 Then they start chatting casually after they "catch" each other, usually Kyoko walking Celestia back to the castle where she usually exits it from. Celestia, of course, is the first to develop a crush which she crashes out over bc fuck she's an idiot, on the damn guard sent to keep her from escaping? She's pathetic (even more so when you take into consideration that she's only realized her sexuality as a lesbian relatively recently after starting to question it when she started sneaking out of the castle to gamble and the first time she builds a somewhat meaningful relationship with another woman she's charmed? Typical lesbian.)

💜 Kyoko doesn't developed a crush until after Celestia casually just mentions she sneaks into dad kirigiri's office all the time to steal his assistant's booze and the route she takes to get there + what times she avoids bc he's always there at those times. And the reason she realizes her feelings is bc Kyoko is thinking of the possiblity of what will happen if she gets her answers from her father, will she leave the guard/knight training? Will her father rat her out for infiltrating? But she lingers and keeps circling back on the leaving the castle grounds a lot more bc she'd hate to leave since she wouldn't want to leave Celestia, so she puts off confronting her dad a bit bc she's having this dilemma that makes no sense up untill a month before the ultimate batch of knights of her year have to make their debut (ie, she will have to debut and reveal who she is in front of the whole kingdom and council which her dad is on) so she has to do it now and it's then that she's realizing she has feelings for Celestia and *that's* why she doesn't want to leave and why she didn't do it that much earlier.

💜 I like to think that she's in their barracks listening to Makoto and Aoi try to cheer her up thinking she's dissociating due to the stress of debut being a month away, and Makoto says something particularly hope-filled that Kyoko decides to just suck it up and sneak into her father's office— Byakuya is also there, standing at the doorway to train Makoto, he's under the impression that Kyoko is being stupid about confessing her love for the princess bc he's caught the two on multiple occasions flirting and giggling amongst themselves. He wishes her luck, she knows what he's assuming so she leaves him with a "if I need luck I can only imagine what forces you need to even consider doing it" which is of course about his own crush on Makoto. Using the information Celestia provides and doing the exact opposite of what the princess tends to do, she barges in while her father is standing at the window staring out of it like old men tend to do, he immediately recognizes her.

💜 She, of course, starts asking questions instead of reuniting happily with her father. Although he's disappointed, he answers honestly, provides what proofs he can that he has on him, tells her which office would have it publicly available or which record keepers would provide it if she shows her birth certificate as proof of identity. Jin tries to bridge the gap, explaining his own experiences growing up under his father, the suffocation of it, emotional suppression, being forced to do something that while he didn't particularly hate it or dislike doing— couldn't see himself doing as his father intended. The death of his wife, her mother, being a wake up to fully break off from his father and their family and taking up the offer to be on council that members of the kirigiri family have always rejected, which caused grandpa Kirigiri due his Jin's abandonment of the family. Due to their positions Jin couldn't do much to combat the custody fight, he's at the very least relieved that Kyoko doesn't seem to have been fully indoctrinated into whatever toxic ideal grandpa Kirigiri has about their family lineage even despite the fact she was also still negatively impacted by it.

💜 Kyoko doesn't take him at his word, deciding she'll take what leads she does have now to investigate, she waits there, still kinda expecting her father to like tell her she has to leave or something when Jin's assistant: Koichi (Kizakura), walks in a tad buzzed. It takes very little for Kyoko to recognize him as the drunkard who, whenever he was around, would cover for her or keep her updated about how long she has until her grandfather returns to go play with Yui or wander around for herself and would also talk about how dumb the "Kirigiri men" are as her father's friend from their youth. Kizakura immediately takes in the situation and in his buzzed stupor says "Bad timing?" And tries to walk out and bumps into the wall. Kyoko leaves.

💜 ❤️ Yada yada nothing happens! She doesn't have to leave, her investigation into her father's claims goes smoothly and quick and he does tell the truth about that but he's also not particularly the greatest guy so she's still iffy on him. It goes so smoothly in fact, she looks for other "cases" to solve, and figures she still doesn't know why exactly Celestia wants to escape (she figured it wasn't just sneaking out after like a week of their game) and Celestia divulges her concerns as if they're nothing to worry about or they're not that serious. She jokes about just poisoning her husband if she's ever made to marry, Kyoko doesn't quite like that and she makes a face that Celestia laughs at.

❤️ 💜 Celestia asks if Kyoko would stop her from escaping, even offers for Kyoko to run away with her, Kyoko doesn't answer so Celestia laughs it off and says it's a silly question. Then she goes on a ramble of what she'd want to do, maybe she'd die on the streets when she does leave but how is that death any different from withering away unhappily around people you hate and people who hate you? Frankly, she'd chance it, plus, she thinks she could make it as a gambler, she already has a few accounts stashed under an alias with gold she's earned from gambling alone. Kyoko let's her talk, the moment was missed, she had been a little late on answering but she'd like to have told Celestia that she would help her escape if it truly was her desire.

❤️ 💜 Whether or not they do run off is another thing, I'd like to imagine that during the knights debut/graduation the King announces that his youngest (Celestia) is finally of marriage age and, as a maiden, she must have a bodyguard/personal retainer to protect her until she marries. So they plan to follow the ceremony up with a tournament where the winner becomes her retainer and an easy path to positions of power like a commander. This is dismissed bc Celestia's like "I already have a retainer." He tries to correct her and she cuts him off again by gesturing towards the ultimate batch at Kyoko and going. "that one's mine."

💜 ❤️ Kyoko's not bold enough to declare herself Celestia's retainer out loud, but she isn't going to deny it or shy away from the proclamation the princess makes so she simply keeps her position in formation. This of course starts a whispering frenzy of how disrespectful the youngest is being towards the king and everyone else bc others wanted to recruit Kyoko into their own guards or commandments bc of her achievements or simply bc she's of the ultimate batch.

🩵 Somewhere in the formation Byakuya is internally thinking to himself things along the lines of "By the gods, what are these sapphic idiots doing?!?" and wanting to hit his head against the nearest shield.

If Kyoko's questioned she'd say something gay like:

🍒 First and foremost, inherited Celestia's sense of fashion (thank the gods)

👑 Yue's hair is naturally lavender like Kyoko's but she has it dyed black that way because she thinks she looks cool like that, she tried dying her eyebrows black by herself once but... Ibuki has to help her do it now no exceptions

🍒 Freckles: Yue's are only on the bridge of her nose, Mari also has them but very faint and only really visible in the summer, like her mother, however she's prone to developing freckles if she's in the sun often

🍒 They're a good mix of Celesgiri, people tend to note they have Celestia's eyes and Kyoko's facial features, and by good mix I also mean they're the best of both parents and are beautiful. They're heartthrobs.

🃏 Celestia is certain they got this charm from Kyoko bc who tf else was falling for her other than Kyoko

💐 Mari calls Kyoko mama and Celes kaasan, in turn, Kyoko and Celes call her Mari or Celes calls her LieblingJasmin 'favorite jasmine' as Mari has the character for jasmine in her name

👑 Yue calls them both Okaa-sama while Kyoko calls her Yuyu(a nickname from when she was a baby) and Celes calls her either 偉大姫(Idai-hime, mighty princess) at her insistence or Große (big one (girl)).

💜❤️ Pregnancy: Kyoko gave birth to Yue and Celes to Mari, Celes had it frighteningly easy besides constant horniness and wanting to cry. On the other hand Kyoko was truly suffering, fortunately she's also the very sleepy type of pregnant which Celes found adorable, but nonetheless Kyoko was either asleep or awake and going through it.

❤️💜 Kyoko is apologetic that Celestia did all that the first time and the next time someone gets pregnant she's doing it again.

💜❤️ "My love... Let's not be stupid." "Celeste, it was painful and tiring and draining, I cannot put you through so much-" "For you, you mean. Which is even more reason for you not to do it."

👑 Yue is also rather fit, similarly to Kyoko, but specifically loves being outdoors instead of working out inside, she's fairly tan for this reason.

👑 Tanned evenly bc she'd be damned if she has tan lines.

👑 Just like her mother, Yue has delusions of grandeur. (For reference: she's like if Ofevre was slightly more socialable with the occasional T.M. Opera O moments)

💐 Mari is gorgeous, and she knows it, and she uses it. A revered man-eater. Allegedly. She's infamous for having a huge appetite that even her mother's have heard about it unfortunately. She was homeschooled for a long while but all the local boys her age have fallen in love with her once or twice if they aren't currently.

👑 Yue is also gorgeous, her peers and locals refer to her as someone who "is so gorgeous, she's handsome." She accepts this with pride even tho she was going for cool and powerful rather than handsome, but no matter!

❤️ Celeste, Ibuki, and Gundham have regular discussions abt stuff and the topic of ALL of their kids being so beautiful and gorgeous and so ATTRACTIVE despite the literal years of bullying they've all suffered abt their looks and teasing abt their kids that are going to be ugly but they're not! Is a common topic. They all credit it to their respective partners, esp Ibuki and Gundham since their genes lost those battles. Celeste likes watching her kids and admire their beauty, call her vain or biased or whatever but she truly believes them to be beautiful. Kyoko watches them with her too, finds them all beautiful, she gets that Celes is doing it bc her insecurity about her own looks have never truly gone away. She would, of course, claim that they get their beauty from Celestia.

💐 In Mari's defense, those rumors are greatly exaggerated, she's just barely a tad flirty and the boys eat it up. She likes the attention of course but girl hasn't even had her first kiss yet. She's not even trying, her efforts are allocated to waiting for her stupid dense childhood love to ask her out before actually getting into a serious relationship (with said love interest), which is why her mothers aren't worried, even if the rumors do make them cringe and make Mari want to hide in her room whenever the two bring it up. Yue however is tired of this song and dance.

🍒 Yue: Why don't you ask him out?

Mari: He's the man!

Yue: ... The guy who wears skirts and has a more extensive akin care regimen than we do combined?

Mari: You think I like him bc he's a "traditional machismo"? Use your brain, but man nonetheless.

Yue: *Tired in lesbian*

💐 Mari is at a higher risk of falling into the "Ask your mother" loop than Yue or Maki and Kotoko whenever they're around. No reason beyond Celesgiri finding it hard to say no to their baby who can do no wrong so they send her to the other parent and hope for the best.

👑 Yue too, but unfortunately she is of the "better to ask for forgiveness than permission" mindset and announces what she will be doing as a warning instead of asking.

🍒 Unlike Mari, Yue does get dates, but also like Mari, Yue doesn't got much going on in the serious romance department, yetー will have a weird rivals-and-lovers thing

🍒 Board game queens!!

🍒 Unnaturally talented at sneaking around, both of them, way too quiet, when they were younger Kyoko would tie bells onto their clothes so they'd stop scaring them and causing trouble when they shouldn't. When they learned how to untie them Celestia sewed them on.

🍒 Gyarus in their pre-teens, much to Kyoko's dismay (not bc she dislikes gyarus but bc the two LOVED Junko and Junko loves annoying the shit out of her)

🔎Kyoko's fav, not usual, coffee order is a few shots with vanilla milk and dark chocolate syrup. She considers it a sweet treat. Her USUAL order is just as many shots as she can or just black. Her favorite coffee is any Arabia blend, the higher percent the better. She likes bourbon and Mundo novo. She got into coffee bc of Yui, and the people around her pump coffee into their blood so that helped streamline that coffee addiction. (It may also be trauma but shhhh)

🔎Kyoko has few good childhood memories, the ones with her mother and father are incredibly hazy and being with her grandfather... She has a fragment of memories of reading superhero manga, which is why she finds capes to be cool.

🔎She also knows a lot about cars, she's fascinated by them, but not in the autistic way (she is, don't let this fool you) but because her boss Oniki has the car obsession.

🔎Kyoko hates the smell of cigarettes, it gives her headaches. On a completely unrelated note一 me when I lie一 Kyoko hates when people she cares about put themselves in harm's way for her on their own accord without her input, especially if they could've died.

🔎Which is why she's a bit taken aback when Celestia pulls her OUT of danger, at the risk of her own safety, with herself with the reasoning being either they're BOTH damned or they both live, no question about it一 Celestia tries to play down what she said bc that was TOO passionate of a proclamation so she tries to play it off bc she got embarrassed. The proclamation makes Kyoko happy, and of course, she won't admit it.

🃏Celestia is susceptible to peer pressure, the prime example would be that she decided to change up her looks for her other high school debut (hope's peak) and wore so much contour that when Ibuki and Gundam saw her they said no immediately一 and Ibuki laughed at her. Celestia got so embarrassed she only lightly contours now. Whenever she doesn't and is caught Ibuki plays that laughing pointing cat meme until Celestia turns tail to remove it. Gundam has to hold back from snorting sometimes and Celestia finds that to be the worst.

🃏Celestia loves chocolate, hates white chocolate, her favorite types are dark, salty, and caramel bc she's picky with it. Milk chocolate is alright but not on it's own.

🃏She'd rather eat salty or oily dishes and snacks than anything sweet but that doesn't fit the image. Fermented foods too.

💜❤️Kyoko and Celestia forget to eat bc they get too locked-in sometimes. Kyoko would rather work than eat and Celes is like "I'm busy right now, I can put it off" and then forgets. Kyoko usually just eats one large meal in a day and thinks that'll be fine (she knows logically it isn't BUT...) and Celestia uses snacks to get by.

💜❤️They notice the other do this and, because they care more about the other than themselves, they've started keeping each other in check. Kyoko sees Celes eating a snack and she calls it lunch and Kyoko's like? no? And Celes sees Kyoko not eat at all besides caffeine and? also no? They settle with eating a small meal together and getting the other snacks. This all happens without them talking about it btw they just be doing shit and they're close enough on the wavelength that it works.

🍀Makoto is pretty good at cooking, his curry is to die for, it's literally the best curry Kyoko has ever had. (Celestia lwky wants to be shown how bc it's just THAT delicious but gets embarrassed bc she only really knows the basics)

🔎On the topic of Food, food with strong flavors make Kyoko want to sneeze (🤨) but she's been desensitized to spicy foods and ONLY spicy foods, which is different from foods with a lot of spices. She'll eat food placed in front of her, bc it's polite and it's not like she dislikes the food particularly, but it's a bit of a bother and sometimes the flavors kinda render her taste buds blind. Which is why, despite the mystery spices of which Makoto puts a decent amount of in his curry, Kyoko loves it, it's not overwhelming and it's GOOD. It's like cocaine ong for her.

🔎It doesn't take her until Celestia says, after she asks Kyoko if she's picky and Kyoko explains her experience with food, that she can just... Not eat that stuff if she didn't want to, they're grown enough to make that choice and Kyoko's like... Oh, yeah, that's true, isn't it.

🔎She doesn't eat cream by itself, no mayo, no dressings, nothing in sandwiches but she can eat a salad with mayo? Idk she can't explain it. Doesn't seem to be a texture thing.

🃏Celestia's secret to dressing quickly is the fact she puts hidden zippers on the back or sides of most of her tops, jackets and coats aside. When her hair's chopped off, she just forgoes adding them when she's altering her clothes.

🔎Kyoko adores soft and fluffy things, esp if bunny shaped but refuses to actually get herself something even if she wants it (character shops are lwky torture for her)

🔎Makoto and Sayaka won her a detective fuzzy penguin keychain and snuck it onto her bag. She has not removed it. She likes running her glove through Grand Bois' fur even if she can't quite feel it, same with other animals that come within petting distance.

🔎Kyoko also likes grabbing any of the numerous plushies that Celestia owns and simply holding it.

🐈‍⬛Cheri talks (ie meows) to Celes and she to him (actual talking), but he's not as talkative bc he's an introvert and is picky with his humans but also bc Celes will meet his needs at the drop of a hat and he KNOWS that if he doesn't get his way there is a reason and he'll be compensated in treats.

🐈‍⬛ he also believes he owns the world like causally which is why he just plops himself where he wants

🐈‍⬛ he's tired of his mother and her situationship

🐈‍⬛ he likes nosing at scaley textures and for this reason he likes to nose at Chibikku,

💜❤️Kyoko is fairly certain that Cheri won't eat him, Celes swears he will not (he won't bc he has taste now)

🔎Kyoko could not carry Celestia for very long in their 1st year, her arms are shaky and her legs buckle and her arms are sore for the next few days. she starts eating a bit more bc the others drag her to go eat with them and pressure her to order too + exercising and she gains muscle fairly easily, not bulky but like? even she's confused? She thinks it's genetics and asks the dad's friend, the scout guy, and he's like (no not ur pops, maybe ur mom's side? she thinks about looking into that later).

🔎 by 2nd year she can carry most of the girls for fairly long, like 10 mins doing nothing and 5 while walking. For whatever reason she can carry Celeste longer than that, Sayaka and Toko have their thoughts on that (Queer™)

🥽Aoi likes carrying Celestia too BUT bc it's funny since Celes gets mad flustered abt it and it makes it look like SHE has drills at certain angles (she has a selfie of this that Celes also has a copy of bc she likes her class lwky)

🃏Celestia had cute and pretty hand-me-downs up until she was 9, bc that's the extent of what Ibuki had gotten that their parents had and she grew out of them, which is around the time she started gambling enough that it was a decent living (for a child and their whims), and even then it wasn't a lot of outfits, maybe 2 with each growth. Her usual outfit was baggy shirts and shorts/skirt, she'd be put into a bad mood anytime her grandparents suggested cutting her hair really short for easier maintenance, she's had her himecut since elementary after seeing her grandmother's old photos and seeing SHE had the cut and it was SO pretty. unfortunately it was tugged and pulled on often (thankfully no gum or glue BUT mud and twigs were involved both naturally* and bullying)

🃏*She's a risk taker so she was a bit of an explorer but specifically for places that seem particularly dangerous, scary, or she wasn't allowed to be there. Celestia wasn't particularly an active child so she'd stumble and fall rather often
