Spider-Man and Superman stuck under a bunch of rubble. Superman is weakened, forcing Spider-Man to hold up the makeshift roof, or they’ll both be crushed. Things get worse when the Kryptonite Bomb is thrown into the rubble to weaken Superman and the Symbiote moves onto the unconscious Superman, forcing him to become Venom-Superman and attack Spider-Man. The culprits behind the attack are Green Goblin (Norman Osborn) and Lex Luthor. Both Green Goblin and Lex Luthor sent their henchmen - Doomsday, Taskmaster, Deathstroke, Brainiac, Kraven the Hunter, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Rhino, Parasite and Amazo to attack the heroes in an ambush. The Supervillains spent their time on the sidelines, observing the fight between Spider-Man and the Symbiote-possessed Superman. However, the tables are turned when Superman manages to shake the Symbiote off. The sight of Superman defeating the Symbiote causes the henchmen to flee, leaving Green Goblin and Lex Luthor at the mercy of the heroes.
