Welcome!
This will serve as our first, although not only, home on the web. Expect to see links to our other outlets as they become operational. (Edit: Find our home on the Fediverse here: Mastodon)
The Harry Simms Fund is a Kentucky nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching the next generation of Kentuckians about the history and present of labor struggles in the Commonwealth. Our namesake, Harry Simms, was killed by a coal company gun thug in Knox County when he was just 20 years old.
We are an all-volunteer organization, so we welcome anyone who would like to help. Please contact us here or via harrysimmsfund at proton dot me if you would like to find ways to pitch in. Right now, we have no means to accept donations, but that will change in the near future!
Check back for updates on our progress and our first projects. We will also make financial statements and minutes of our board's meetings available for public review.
