Ali Krieger posted on social media about her support for changing Washington’s NFL team name. Sports Illustrated used it in an article posted 6-25-20. Ali’s been getting crap about it from all sides in the comments of all her social media. Some “not fans” posted these pics of her supporting the NFL team she grew up loving and cheering for - calling her a hypocrite. They’re all missing the point, as usual. She can love her team and still push it to do better. I love how she’s using her voice more now. I hate that she has to deal with the assholes out there every time she does it, but I’m grateful as hell that she’s doing what she believes is right, and fighting for so many of us out here who need it (LGBTQ, BLM, Equal Pay, Indigenous People, Feminism). One of the many reasons I adore her. My queen. 👏🏻💜💪🏻🏳️‍🌈🙌🏻👸🏻
