Chapter Two: Grief

It's here! The second chapter of my KOBD sadness-fest.

You know how I said this would have a "wee sprinkling of Megatron/Orion Pax?" Well they took up the bulk of this chapter and I love them so... haha.

These Bonds of Ours

It is a Knockout/Breakdown fic set in an AU where Breakdown was killed by Airachnid while Orion Pax was still on the Nemesis. It has a wee sprinkling of Megatron/Orion Pax, but the main story will be focused around Knockout and Orion, as well as their budding friendship.

I'd like to give a MASSIVE thank you to the lovely @janayuga for beta reading this work and making this lovely doodle of chapter one!

Chapter 1: Misery

Awesome question! In terms of time, I'm not sure. However long it takes to get through the story arcs I have planned, I suppose. Could be a few months, could be a year. Life is whack.

In terms of planning, I have plans for up to chapter seventeen so far, and more arcs than that. I'd estimate maybe - heavy on the maybe - about twenty to twenty-five chapters in total. Maybe more, maybe less. That being said, I have a few side stories in mind that I'd create a series for on AO3, mostly just ficlets set in the universe or small bits that didn't really fit anywhere else.

It's not really a playlist so much as it is a collection of songs I listen to for specific situations. (i may have just defined a playlist but it's not what i meant shhhh) Plus, I don't really use Spotify; I enjoy YouTube Music a bit more since I mooch off my dad's subscription hehe-

When writing Pure Vanilla, I usually listen to "Vale of Tears" from the Alice: Madness Returns soundtrack. When writing Dark Cacao, I usually listen to "Clementine Suite" from the Telltale Walking Dead soundtrack.

In specific situations, such as when Dark Cacao goes utterly apeshit in chapter six, I'll go with something for the situation. In that case, it was "Castlevania Opening Titles" by L'Orchestra Cinematique. Feel free to ask about certain scenes and I'll let you know what song I used!

Otherwise, I usually just listen to white noise or soft ambience, like chill Skyrim music.

I like to think it's dark purple!

Oranges,,, I'm a clementine gal myself, but oranges are such a nice treat sometimes! I think I've tried buldak before, but I can't handle spicy stuff at all so it wasn't my speed. I'm glad you found something you really love, though!
