Violet Ramis Stiel, the eldest child of writer/actor/director Harold Ramis and his first wife, Anne, will offer readers a glimpse into life as a “Ghostbuster’s Daughter” with her upcoming book. Originally conceived as a parenting guide they would write together, after Harold’s illness and untimely death, Violet decided to go ahead with the project, but shift the focus inward, to honor and celebrate her father by telling their story.

“Ghostbuster’s Daughter” follows the (often messy) lines of Harold’s and Violet’s life – as individuals, as parent and child, and as peers – from Chicago to Toronto to Los Angeles, back to Chicago and to New York, with many other stops along the way.
