Home is a state of mind. Home is what you make of it. Home is where you can fall into a deep sleep. Home is where you wake up chipper with having no where else to go. Home is Happy. Open. Marvelous. Easy-going. I have been born and raised in California. I have attended school in the Midwest slash South. I have also lived in Florida for a brief period. I debate with myself if I have made a home in all these prior locations or have never really felt at home my whole life. I am turning 25 this year and having a quarter-life crisis. I love and hate myself in the best and worst way. The only thing that seems to make me feel at ease is my pursuit to establishing myself and a home. I strive everyday towards creating a house, a foundation, a fortress, a getaway, an oasis if you will in order to get away and also bring others into. I want a home where I can be myself. With everything I have typed in this post in mind, I realize I'm creating a better self and not home. The more capable I am to feeling comfortable with myself will be the ground work to a better ME. So everyday I reflect on the home I have become and head towards. I ask to my reader: Are you establishing a nice home? Does your home present a nice first impression to guests? Does your home have enough restrooms to flush the bull SHIT of society? Is your home cluttered and compact? Is your home empty with space never to be used? Does your home have a nice feng shui?
