57 bedtime stories (that are probably a little bit more excessively violent and feature more explosions than the average bedtime story) later, we have cuddling. Or well, it'll probably be cuddling real soon. I technically didn't match the prompt *specifically* but I feel like this gives off the same kind of vibe.

Flowers! Now with all the fancy colours of summer! Groot continues to utterly style on everyone and everything with what can most easily be described as a one piece flower suit. Rocket, in much more regular garb (for the time being), continues to be weirded out and horrified by the raccoon instinct to make this tree his home (he's also fighting a really bad pollen allergy). Weird question maybe but do we think Groot is a Fruit Tree? He grew that one little flower for the girl on Knowhere and I imagine could fairly easily grow a bunch more (which is what I imagine the case is here). But would he be able to grow fruit? And now I need to draw Rocket realising his fruit salad is ala Groot, with all the horrible feelings that might entail.

I've always loved the lore behind the scarf that Rocket wears in Endgame. He misses his family, his "son", his best friend. I think he really feels the weight of their loss and a responsibility to continue what they did together as the sole remaining Guardian.

It was Rocket’s 50th birthday the other day!! So I had to draw him a birthday drawing :) here he is reading through all of his comics, starting with Marvel Preview Number 7, his first appearance!

Guys idk if you’re all privy to the newly discovered thriving celebrity raccoon from Seattle named Jimothy with short spine syndrome but he is precious to me and I had to draw Rocket and him meeting lmao ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ if you haven’t been blessed with videos of him u have to look him up ok he’s magical LOL

I've always pondered this, and since we don't have a canon answer in the movies, I'd like to know your thoughts.

Did the HE take a bunch of baby raccoons from the wild and then start experimenting on them?

Or

Was his pregnant mother taken from the wild and disposed of once she gave birth? Or were his ancestors taken and then selectively bred in captivity until Rocket's litter was born? Did the experiments start after birth, or was Rocket's embryo genetically modified?
