I dug up an old Dandelion fanart. I'd definitely draw him differently now - there are a lot of mistakes in it. Still, I think the design I came up with for his book-canon appearance has aged pretty well

because obviously what he means to say is that she has a banginā figure, but
1. in the case that he means that: āher natural figure resembled an already-corseted figure,ā itās challenging to imagine a woman whose torso is shaped exactly like a laced corset, especially with whalebone. maybe this is related to trissās allegedly 22-inch waist (/snide)
2. corsetry was used not only for the purpose of achieving a certain shape and fashionable silhouette, but for supporting the bustā¦ itās like saying āshe didnāt bother with a bra, she didnāt need to.ā if yennefer is free-tittying around under that blouse, that certainly means that in order to be comfortable, she simply cannot have large boobs, or they could cause her pain without adequate support. so how i will cheerfully choose to re-interpret this line, is that yennefer has small boobies :) thatās canon nowā¦ you canāt take small boobie yen away from meā¦
3. yennefer literally had a severe congenital spinal deformity. so i think a corset might have actually helped herā¦ (of course, i guess magic significantly altered the construction of her spine, but she still has one shoulder higher than the other, so she still might have back problems)
