Everything was weird now. How her breath hitched in her throat, heavy when it came out, how her heart was beating not regularly, skipping a beat now and then, making her feel warm and uncomfortable. Not able to recognize those feelings, Eri just stared back at him, losing herself into his eyes, hands still on his shoulder. No, she didnât know what to do. What to say. And even if that situation was odd and made her feel strange, somehow she couldnât just push him away. A part of her wanted to, oh she wanted to run away so badly, so that she didnât have to confront all those things she was hearing in her head. Why, though? Why was she feeling like that? Like what, in the first place? Weak, vulnerable, glass but on fire inside, but she couldnât understand if that fire was good or not. Motionless, Eri parted her lips, so close to Hanâs, but nothing came out, at first.
âDonât you dare fall in love with me.â She tried to chuckle, but her voice was shaky, and her hands were trembling. For once, she couldnât decide. If she wanted to hide, or to stay there. And her eyes were still on his, until she looked away, ashamed of her words, maybe even hurt by them. Because they werenât really directed to him. They were a reminder for herself.
IDIOT. He felt like a complete and utter fool. Only inches away from her &&. he thought he had a chance. There was something about her that made his chest feel tight, warm &&. elated like it never really felt before. Something he saw in Eri that he had never seen before &&. something that he would have definitely fallen in LOVE with. But even so, she told him not to, voice shaky as if she was afraid, of what? Han wasnât sure, but took the last glance before she turned her gaze away from him. Teeth pulled back his bottom lip; in nervous disarray, his thoughts making his decision for him. âone. you donât kiss her. and two. you donât change the friendship.â Sitting back, he quickly wipes the somewhat disheartened expression from his features, replacing it with a smile (though not a very convincing one). Those were his OWN words &&. though he had only meant them as a joke, perhaps Eri had REALLY meant them. &&. Thatâs what hurt him most.
â ----Ah, sorry. I guess I just wasnât thinking, but I, I wouldnât dare. âÂ
( idiot. idiot. idiot. you fell for her too soon. )
