It was a brisk morning in the Southern Isles and there was a little baby princess in a basket woven from the reeds of the Nile River in Egypt on the steps of the palace. The baby’s name was Irisi.
As Hans stepped out into the brisk weather he almost tripped over a basket. He decided to pick up the basket and found that it was definitely not empty. The little girl looked like a princess. “Hello there,” Hans said just a bit confused
Irisi giggles as she saw her new daddy.
As Hans looked more closely, he realized he did not know her name. He looked around for someone to name the child but found no one. He then took her to an enchantress find out her name
The enchantress had told him that her name was Irisi, she was special, she had the powers of ice and snow.
As Hans made the journey back with Irisi in the basket, he thought about the ice and snow and shuddered. He remembered last time all too well
A year or so later, Irisi ran down the hall and went into her father’s study. “Hi, Daddy.” Irisi said.
“Hello!” Hans turned around, his face lit up. “What are you up to?” he asked playfully.
“Playing hide and seek with Uncle Rolf.” Irisi said as she looked for a good hiding spot.
“Quick, get under here!” Hans said in a rush as a shadow came around the corner
“Hans, have you seen Irisi?” Rolf asked.
“Not at all,” Hans said with a straight smile. “Have you looked in the kitchen?”
“No, I will go look there.” Rolf said.
“That was a close one,” Hans said Irisi. “You can come out now.”
“Okay.” Irisi said.
“You better go find another spot before he comes back.” Hans remarked.
“Okay, Daddy.” Irisi said.
As Irisi ran off, Hans turned back to the stack of papers that was sitting on his desk. He put his head in his hands saying “how am I ever going to fix this mess.”
“Are you okay, brother?” One brother asked.
“Ya, I just need some time to think about these contracts, and Irisi.”
“Oh, I see.” He said.
“Do you think that she is related to Elsa by any chance?” Hans asked his brother.
“No, why?” He asked.
“Just something I heard earlier,” Hans replied. “I’m going to venture to Arendelle in the near future and I was going to take Irisi with me, if possible.”
“Well, I did hear that a winter spirit visited Egypt one time.” Klaus said.
“Thanks for the information,” Hans replied back. “I’m going to go get Irisi and we are going to head out in the morning.”
“Alright, be safe.” Klaus said.
“Irisi, do you want to take a trip tomorrow?” Hans called out
“Yes, I do.” Irisi said.
“Alright. get packed up.”
“Okay, does that mean I might have a mommy?” Irisi asked.
“Uhhh, ya,” Hans said a little shakily. Was there any way to prove that Elsa and Irisi were related?
“Are you okay, Daddy?” Irisi asked.
“Yes I’m just fine, go get your things packed.”
“Okay.” Irisi said.
The next morning, Hans went to get Irisi up. “Wake up, sleepyhead.”
“Okay.” Irisi said.
Leaving the room for her to get dressed Hans mentally ran through everything in his mind. His apology was going to have to be good in order to avoid getting killed/frozen/punched in the face again.
“I’m ready.” She said.
“Alright then, let’s board the ship.”
