I thought it would be helpful to give everyone links to where I find news on Hamtaro merch! See below for the brands that have had collaborations in the past with Hamtaro, I have added links where I can to their websites!

Official Hamtaro Store

This is the first permanent Hamtaro store!!! Ham-Town opened on April 23rd 2026 in Yoyogi, and features 2 floors dedicated to Hamtaro! The first floor houses a collection of early 2000s merch sold in Japan (as well as the Ham Ham clubhouse sold overseas!!). There's a seating area in the center and a photo booth off to the side. The second floor has limited edition merch for sale. It has been confirmed that they are anticipating expanding in Tokyo and other parts of Japan, and are also thinking about expanding overseas!!!

Other Sources

I use Collabo-Cafe to find out if there's any Hamtaro Pop-Up or cafes. It's been a while since I've seen them have ham-hams on their radar, so this is more of a general anime site.

Monthly Gachapon Releases: This is updated the first of every month, usually showing what will come out before it hits Twitter. It will also show you a map of which stores have the gacha in stock, I use this constantly in Japan when I don't want to waste time hunting machines

It seems like the Goji-Ham collab products are not as limited as other brands. If you want something you usually don't have to panic buy to fight resellers the stuff usually stays for like a year! Also the latest collab is also in other stores like Yamashiroya, Yodabashi, and Kiddy Land (Harajuku)

Please know I've been searching for this hair clips for months!!! Do you know what year this picture is from? If its more recent (2019 or later) then it may be fanmade. Below is the closest I've found in terms of official 2000s merch.

There's been a good amount of recent hairclips but none of them look like the one pictured 😭

Ham-Town Shop

Grand Opening: April 23, 2026

Accessibility Status: Lottery system from April 23 to April 26

A brand new store is opening up April 23rd in Shibuya for Hamtaro! The website says that the first batch of items to be released are cherry blossom themed, and to me the artwork is very reminiscent of the Ham-ham Heartbreak concept art!

It's been confirmed that there will be a lottery for tickets the first 4 days of the opening, with more days to be added if the expected number of guests continue to rise. In order to go to the store on these days, you'll need to apply for a ticket using a LINE account from April 3 to 13. There is no guarantee that you will be given a ticket for the grand opening, but the store should open up to the general audience afterwards. Usually store openings like this are a lottery only for Japanese residents the first 2 weeks or month, and then it opens later for other people to attend. There is no confirmation at this time of if the store will only be for Japanese residents after the first four days.

There's a limit on the amount you can buy to prevent resellers.

Its not clear at this time if this is a permanent shop (like the ChiikawaLand stores), or if will last for a few months and then move to another city (like a tradional pop-up) There's a point card system noted on the last image I uploaded, and it sounds like there will be rounds of merch drops so that gives me hope it'll be a semi permanent store???

Hamtaro Crepe Plush Keychains

Furyu is back at it again with some cute crepe themed plushies! These are pretty small and were in the small/medium sized crane games in Japan. Not gonna lie the size and skinny design made them really hard to win, at least for me 😭 I only managed to win the winking one during my last trip:

I'm gonna throw up!!!!! LOOK AT THIS PLUSH BAG!!!!! This will be released in crane game centers across Japan soon. The list of crane game stores (and previous hamtaro releases by Furyu can be found at this link.

I love that Furyu is blasting us with so much hamtaro merch, but I'm kinda sad that the designs have been extremely similar over the past year. The head and body is literally the exact same as the Turning Butt plush below:

I think you're talking about these!! I don't think I ever saw these as a kid, I would've gone crazy for them!!

Hamtaro Brown Bear Big Plushies

I guess FuRyu got the licensing for Hamtaro goods because they have been cranking them out! These big Hamtaro plushies depict him wearing a cute bear onesie. It looks so cute and soft!!

This cute DIY paper cutout display released in October across multiple stores like AmiAmi, Animate, and stationary shops. I saw someone say that it has a med to high difficulty level, so maybe get two so you don't feel like you ruined it?

These plushies just randomly appeared in Daiso during the first week of November! I can't find official photos but I believe the lineup is Hamtaro, Bijou, Oxnard, Pashmina and I think either Penelope or Boss??
