The Chief (King Kong)—As far as horror hotties of color overlooked by the studio system go, he's an absolute classic. While this role is undeniably stereotypical, Noble Johnson is an absolute scene-stealer and plays the Chief with a ton of charisma and dignity. Plus, his look is incredibly striking! [editor's note: the picture of him in character is a racist "savage" stereotype so I'm putting it under the cut with a content warning.]

Norman Bates (Psycho)—Just look at this guy. He's cute, he's shy, he's a mama's boy. Incredibly charming. I'm not going to lie I would never assume he was up to anything nefarious.

Dracula (Hammer's Dracula series)—The selling point of this franchise was the sex appeal and physical presence of its lead actor as Dracula. As Lee himself said in an interview with NPR, “I also told you that the character is romantic - so he is, as far as women are concerned, and erotic. And there's, of course, the obvious association with the bite in a sexual sense, if you like. So I tried to put all those particular characteristics into the character. It appears that I succeeded.”
