I think it could be interesting to really lean into the fact that changelings have always been bad at keeping their own history, and that the nobles understand both human and changeling history even less than the commoners. The commoners can't even tell you when the Seasonal Courts became the Seelie and Unseelie Courts, even though this couldn't have happened any earlier than the 13th century. The nobles are trying to recreate a version of the past that never actually existed. It's an entire mess in here, and nobody knows what's actually going on.
