social media apps are rolling out ai age detection. do you think they want to go through the hassle of getting everyone to sign in with their correct ages? NO. they want you to upload photos of your face, and photos of your passport.

you know social media apps have the ability to send your data to third party companies, why would they not do it for this?

a world where kids’ information is easily accessible on the internet, even just the statement that they are under a certain age DOES NOT PROTECT THEM AT ALL.

they will have filtered access to recent news only. they will have no variety in their opinions. whatever the australian government provides them will be their only information to rely on.

Be it the leviathans circling above, the isolation of knowing no one will bury you, the pathogen that destroys your body and mind, or even the capitalistic dread of being another disposable cog in the machine: you are not safe. To some that is the thrilling appeal of jumping headlong in to an alien planet.

Whatever your play style, whatever your goals, we invite fans of the game around the brain coral as to share your haunting tales.

WELCOME. To a small scale fandom event, hope to keep you for a bite! This event is going to be all about creating and sharing anything related to subnautica and horror. Be it personal anecdotes, stories, art, video edits, murals, crafts, anything! This is your call to create something horror shaped that smells like fish.

THE COMPETITION:

… Well, if you can call it that. Compete if you like with other horror fanatics to make something so frightening it will make the sparse reef look like a pleasant meadow.
