For two years, war interrupted my education and future plans.

Despite everything, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering and continued supporting students through educational initiatives in Gaza.

Today, I am taking the first step toward my Master's degree.

It has been 3 years of genocide in Gaza, and people like my friend @mohdayesh are still trapped in Gaza with no escape from their treacherous daily life.

Mohammed's wife is pregnant and to this day dealing with the pain of having a bullet lodged in her chest. And Mohammed is bearing the responsibility of trying to keep his family taken care of to the best of his abilities with the limited resources he can get his hands on.

Mohammad and I often spoke of his desires to start a life for himself and his wife outside of the war zone, away from the genocide, where they can finally have a taste of safety and security. There is nothing more that I want than the ability to snap a finger and help him achieve their dreams, but unfortunately that's not within my power. All I can do is plead with you to help.

Mod'd is my friend and someone I've been working with for the past 3 years to ensure that you can trust where your money is going and weed out harmful actors taking advantage of the crisis in Gaza. And he has worked tirelessly to that end. He often doesn't ask for help for himself because he wants to see others thrive, but now he has a wife and a child on the way and he can't sit and watch as they suffer in this genocide.

He is trying to reach a preliminary goal of £3,000 on his gofundme, and has reached £2,046/£3,000 up until the time I'm writing this post.

This is the first time I have shared details of my private life. I was considering two options. The first was that I didn't want to share my private life out of embarrassment for the Arabs here. They might think badly of me, saying that I'm sharing my problems and misfortunes to make money, which isn't true. I have many problems that I haven't shared to make money. The second option is that everyone here knows me for my positivity and love, and I don't want to burden them with difficult stories and make them worry about me. However, recently I received donations that will allow me to at least get through these next few days without fear, because money is everything these days. I can't get anywhere without money because I couldn't afford private transportation. This is just a small part of what we are going through. The Palestinian people are currently living through the most difficult period in their history. The hardship and harshness of life are beyond our wildest dreams. 19-year-old Khalil Al Habil's liver and kidneys are failing. Shrapnel damage from the bombardment that killed his baby brother Omar has gone mostly untreated due to a lack of funds and resources. The ill effects of this damage have progressed to the point that the organs are losing their ability to function. Khalil urgently needs 3 rounds of treatment to combat the effects of his deteriorating liver and kidneys.

We've paid off the first round of treatments but Khalil has two treatments that he still needs. The second costs about $1,250 usd, but we haven’t made much progress in more than a month and his condition is getting progressively worse. We need to meet this second goal ASAP!!!

The lethargy and fatigue caused by his deteriorating organ function only make reaching out more difficult. He is in very, very bad shape, and I’m extremely worried about him.

He dreamed of a bright future after high school, but instead of celebrating his success, he found himself running from bombs and destruction, just trying to survive.

His Life Changed in an Instant!

Their home was destroyed in the bombing, leaving them with nowhere to return to.

His older brother lost his job after the occupation wiped out the area where he worked.

His school and his sister’s university turned into shelters for displaced families, leaving no classrooms for students.

They spent everything they had just to escape and make it to Egypt after six months of horror.

How Did They Survive?

They fled multiple times under bombs and gunfire, carrying what little they had in plastic bags, running through rubble and smoke, never knowing if they'd survive.

Their last stop was Rafah, which is now under siege, where they faced hunger, illness, and fear until they finally made it out.

His father suffers from severe back problems, making him unable to work, and his medical treatment is extremely expensive.
