How can you miss something you weren't there for? How can you miss something you never had? "a transhistorical reconstruction of the lost home"

This piece was heavily inspired by my grandmother, Corinne, who passed away last month. Hearing my mother, aunts, uncles, and cousins speak about their lives with her and how she impacted each and every one of them was bittersweet, moving, and beautiful. Hearing all these wonderful stories, both happy and sad, all of which I was never a part of, caused a strange longing in me, a nostalgia for something I never had.

The video clips were compiled by me. The music was also written by me, recorded and mixed by Taylor Parenti. I want to thank my family for sharing stories of my grandmother. You all have a small part in this. This piece is dedicated to her.
