Assembled task-force includes: Nemeore Sunborne, Arcturus Sunhymn, Chaszmyre Duskwind, Karthalion Dawnrunner, Elyndia Dawnrunner, Caitlin Sunshear, Vellice, otherwise known as V, and a peculiar Hunter by the name of Loreann. We also recently aquired Korugar Slagtusk, as well, by way of Horde transfer request.

Mission:
- Establish a foothold.
- Survey the state of the Blasted Lands.
- Ascertain the Iron Orc numbers.
- Examine and diagnose the state of the Dark Portal.
- Collect samples of Iron Horde tech and Portal scan data.
We have been in the Blasted Lands since the eighteenth day of this month, the tenth month of the year.
The situation here is far, far worse than all initial reports said and suggested.
The Blasted Lands are overrun. These Orcs are well-armed and well-trained. This is an army put-together for invasion. A conquering force.
The Portal has turned blood red, and Outland is silent. The portal on their side, is disabled. These Orcs are coming from somewhere else.
Looting corpses has led us to discover insignias and crests of the Draenic Clans of old. Thunderlord, for example.
The Dark Portal is simply run by powerful magics. Mages from both the Horde and Alliance maintain it, while keeping the constant vigil. So, what force could be more powerful to rip away our control, to re-purpose the portal for their own need?
Infinite Dragonflight? This doesn't fit their M.O, though. Nor does it fit anything the Legion have ever tried.
We have been attacked several times. Our initial landing point, the Sunveil Reliquary site, has been singled out by the Orcs. Another group of Horde soldiers moved into the area, and we decided to relocate. I will not have my people become part of such a large target.
I have an excellent team. I couldn't ask for more helpful, intelligent, and loyal people. Despite our situation and the dire feel of the task at hand...they make it enjoyable. Fun.
Nemeore, remains my pillar. She is handling this far better than I expected, considering the racial identity of our foes. She is so strong, and she inspires me.
We are now out on the Red Reaches, utilizing an old Naga holding. But, since we recently captured a siege cannon, I've simply been waiting for Orcish forces to 'round the bend from the tainted forest and head our way.
It is just a matter of time before they encroach further. Sunveil is lost, and Surwich cannot hold out from constant bombardier barrage.
I have a very bad feeling about the situation. Their tech is advanced, and devastating. Similar to the crude machines used by Garrosh's forces, beneath Orgrimmar during the Siege.
We will continue to reverse-engineer the single cannon we managed to get ahold of, despite its condition. And we will continue to make attempts to get closer to the portal itself.
My official statement is that the Blasted Lands are, for the moment, lost to the Horde and Alliance. This land is Iron Horde land, and we will need more to drive them back, to get closer to the portal and truly figure out what is going on. They are moving freely through the region, and action must be taken before they spill north, further into the continent.
They must be contained.
