Basically, the hard to swallow pill is that, yes, sometimes my gf does upset me and I have the right to be upset…but if I don’t communicate with her and simply stay quiet and internalize all my anger, the blame for ruining our quality time together ultimately falls on me. So for all my fellow stubborn peeps out there - be less stubborn in your relationships. Focus more on communicating your emotions and trying to see their perspective, because most of the time if you stay quiet, they won’t even know they upset you, and then your stubborn anger can ruin what could be an amazing day with your significant other.
