What if Sun becomes Tyrant?

Sun has watched his family die while essentially living through a sense of Survivor's guilt, or developing it (I fucking hope so, it just makes sense) while working with different versions of himself that he can see himself in. Dahlia and Carmine had been guiding him on how to be assertive and confident with combat and magic as well.

Sun is continously shown to be perfect with weapons such firearms, but also has experience with swords. With is a commonly depicted weapon for Tyrant who shares similarities/traits to a knight.

What are knights? Strong and loyal fighters who are meant to protect who they're assigned to. Like kings(or leaders like Moon), or princesses(like what Terra likes to call herself or his daughter), or maybe family.

But what is a Tyrant? Someone who is an opposite to a knight. Controlling, apathetic, and one can be a Tyrant by... overthrowing a King. Or being trusted the role and abusing the power.

What if Sun becomes confident enough to find his own purpose, where his worldview changes because of the people around him.

Sol, a Leader, may... trust Sun with a certain position.

Dahlia, a soilder or Knight, may teach Sun apathy. Empathy can be tool, but also a great weakness, afterall.

Carmine, expert with combat, may teach Sun more ways on how to use a weapon when Magic can't be enough. What better weapon thats close to a scythe then a sword that Sun has experience with?

Sun may see what Nexus saw in his family, Nexus haunts his dreams, after all. Maybe Sun gets fed up with the empty promises, constant verbal abuse, neglect, and carelessness from Moon, Solar, Monty, and Terra (Cosmos is the victim in these scenerios so he'd be there to ground the situation like he's always done. The goat) and reach a breaking point.

And if Cosmos sides with the family, one could call him a traitor. And dictators tend to punish those that act against them. Say, like how Nexus lashed out.

Basically, what if Tyrant is a warped version of Sun's entire being. More skilled and calculated while still showing empathy to those he believes deserves it, like maybe his daughter.

Sun BECOMING Tyrant is way more interesting, because it would actually mean something to his character. If Tyrant was just an Alternate Sun, it wouldn't carry the same impact. I mean, look what happened to Titan.

To add onto this, what if Dazzls was the princess in the castle? Tyrant as Sun still carries the same care he's always had for her, and so throughout the whole situation, he plays a game with her. To play Princesses and stay up in the castle while the Knight, Tyrant/Sun, protects her. All while operating whatever kind of scheme he's planning. Maybe brainwashing like President Earth, or just genocide like Ruin. (Except Ruin didn't have a choice, Sun would.)

Also to put a bow on the idea, Tyrant likes hotcakes because he makes them for his daughter. 🎀

NOT ONLY COULD SOL BE TYRANT, BUT ALSO PREZ EARTHS SUN. IT MAKES THE CONNECTION MAKE SO MUCH SENSE, AND HOW WE NEVER SEE PREZ EARTHS PEOPLE OTHER THAN THE GREEN FOLKS AND MONTY. THATS WHAT THEIR SUN WOULD BE DOING, AND ALL OF THIS WOULD EXPLAIN WHY PREZ EARTH HAS BEEN BUILT UP TO BE SUCH A HUGE VILLAIN ACROSS TWO DIFFERENT SHOWS.

Basically, with what we know is he's been there a while, right? And a lot of people think he's disguised himself. But what if he hasn't?

What if, maybe Dark Sun, maybe a different sun with magic who sacrificed themself to do this, turned him to stone in a forest clearing of the sanctuary when he tried to infiltrate and the only way to undo it is another magic user touching the statue. But only Dark Sun knew about it and thought he'd never have to worry about it so didn't tell anyone or put up a sign or something

And that's how he's been plotting, been planning. The statue is so covered with plant life(now in a courtyard of one of the important buildings) no one knows what's underneath.... most magic users get bad feelings from it and avoid. But he can still hear them, still think... He's been plotting this whole time...

And just all it takes is one little magic user getting too close, maybe a stressed one that would ignore the bad feeling, maybe one that's still being trained and doesn't know what it would be unleashing by touching the seemingly pillar of moss to lean on and accidentally brushing against stone.

Someone like... our Sun.

I got my discord hacked, if you see my account modded_deathz with the display CHAOS.. then watch out. I was sent a file by my old friend from school.. Turns out it was the hacker.

I want this to spread so people are aware of what's happening.

They used my friend's account saying something along the lines of, "Hey, I was wondering if you could help me surprise a friend of mine. She was building a big city in minecraft, and I was hoping you'd be in to help surprise her. I'm gathering a bunch of people to play in the city and make a video out of it." If you've believed this, they'll ask what you've used for mods.. Either Curseforge or Modrinth. In my unfortunate case it was Modrinth, I downloaded the file and hopped in only to find everything gone.

Please be careful when interacting with people, and make sure it is actually them, I was stupid enough to trust it, and now I'm dealing with the consequences.

If you've been unfortunate enough to get hacked, change your passwords on everything, DO NOT CLOSE OUT OF ANYTHING, delete the files downloaded, run an RT SCAN, or completely wipe your computer to rid of it. Keep your security up to date, and make sure not to store any sensitive personal information on anything.

I was going to add more characters, but I figured I'd focus on the main ones since they're actively still important and focused on the most. And yes I included Ruin because he essentially IS an important character along as just... missed out on so many possibilities before his unsatisfying death.

This quote was before the more- thinking on what Solar and Nexus are, but regardless. How can they be in the same family but not be relatives whatsoever?

Quote 2 from my previous rant:

This quote was just general frustration, cuz Solar and Nexus can be good angst, but not when it's overshadowed by the Original angst lords that have a history of connection since Eclipse made the "My face, my voice" comment in Sun's head looking directly at Moon. There have ALWAYS been parallels and connections between Moon and Eclipse, AND SUN, and yet I somehow see more of Sun and Eclipse then Moon and Eclipse? I understand Sun is the victim of Eclipse and there's Eclipse feeling bad or at least regretful about how he treated Sun and Sun's state at the time. But even though Modern Eclipse is a clone, he holds the same hatred and regret as the original. Which is more connection to Eclipse and Moon..

THE MONTY GATOR AND FOXY SHOW SHOWED US THE REAL AFTERLIFE WHERE VERSION 1 ECLIPSE + SOLAR FLARE WERE STILL ACTIVE. Or, at least technically could be seen again thanks to Vegeta and whatever the fuck he did. And in a sense, if V1 Eclipse's consciousness is still active SOMEWHERE, that means the forest thing could still be plausible and even possible he could return. Identity Crisis, a real redemption arc for Eclipse himself, yadayadayada. OPPURTUNITIES THAT SOMEHOW WERE MISSED.

Maybe that's just me though.

And with the shipping aspect of Solar and Nexus and how they are, it gets creepy due to the fact they share the same family members. Again, the two can create amazing angst, there's just a lot of missed opportunities.

Just a side note, more of a personal opinion on that front but, Solar X Nexus as a whole from what I've seen so much is also become uncreative. In the sense that it's the same concept over and over again and the shipping infantilizes the complexity of the two while romanticizing the wrong or nonexistent parts of the characters, hence why I put so much emphasis on missed opportunities.

and heyyy, if you're generally just running out of ideas for characters, ask me stuff. or write down stuff you think are interesting, and if you want it more unique then you can look up other people's ideas and/or compare. see if you can make it your own and try something different.

Also, if you're worried about shipping because Moon is Aro/Ace, that's okay. You're allowed to ship Aro/Ace characters in media, whether for rep of the spectrum(because it IS a spectrum), or for personal enjoyment. Just as much as you're allowed to feel you don't want to. Just don't bully or harass people about it, informing is good if the person is uninformed, I get that. But if you can also ship Alastor with anyone despite canon, and/or ship Carme with Moon despite canon, then Eclipse and Moon are fine. in fact, I would've expected it more then any other ship.

I would say it's another form of missed opportunity with Aro/Ace pairs, because from what I've been aware of, it can feel troubling or stressful to get in a relationship with someone because you may not have the same ideals of love or intimacy then others. And with Moon, I'm sure people can relate to that, especially in the more recent videos with how out of place he's felt.

Acceptance and Consideration like how Ruin and Nexus spoke to each other before Solar died. This is the more broader example since Solar, Nexus, and Ruin are more of outcasts.

I bring this back mainly because I know there's some people out there that will try and use this as an excuse or justification. Maybe this fandom is more better then the ones I've been used to, but either way, I'm having it out there.

This is more so a safety precaution in general, because when topics like this are brought up, I know people tend to forget the mindset is also because of a person's environment they've been influenced into or grown up around. And you probably say the same for me with my caution and concerns.

I've been in quite a few fandoms, and among all fandoms, shipping is unescapable. It's fun, and I've partaken in shipping culture and still do. But over the years, I've also been more cautious or selective with characters and pairing.

I'm the type of person to overthink, create ideas that could be used in stories or are already in stories but could have more. And with that mindset, I guess for me, I will notice, question, and get stuck on the smaller details. With TSAMS and how wacky it's world gets, the family dynamic is one of the main things to latch onto for normalcy, you can connect to real life logistics as the universe itself does so too with the form of found family. It's probably the only forms of media I've ever consumed that's PRIMARY gimmick is found family for character dynamics, so it's one of the main things, I at least, would personally pay attention to. Like the Ruin and Nexus cousin thing.

Also Theory Time, I'd like to believe revived Solar is NOT Solar in the same way Modern Eclipse is not V1 Eclipse. There's been implications that Solar is Just a clone and is Not the Original Solar. I LOVE the idea so much and miss identity crisis Eclipse. The theory would also explain Solar's horrendous attitude toward Cosmos since the Overseer Arc, in the sense that Eclipse still hates Cosmos (for some reason, you'd think he'd be proud of Cosmo for being his own person at this point.) And since Eclipse used his code on Solar... and Solar is entirely erased and cannot come baaaack. Solar has been dead this whole time. They've been playing with a puppet pretending to be their sibling. MAYBE THAT'S WHY THEY'RE CONFUSED ON THE "Cousin or Brother" THING!!!!! THAT'S WHAT THE OVERSEER WAS WARNING JACK ABOUT.

OOOOOOoooo. Like the Puća(pooka) folklore!!!!! Little fairy creatures that turn into animals like dogs, rabbits, or horses and replace a beloved pet or loved one. Both causing fortune and mischief. Most commonly seen with animal like and dark features.

And Faes and Fairies are canon to TSAMS... sooooo...

Obviously Solar isn't a fae, but the idea he mimics one that specifically mimics loved ones is so fun.

A main idea being Solar used to carve and construct stuff, generally doing all kinds of hobbies to keep himself occupied. Revived Solar pretty sure stopped doing that for one reason or another, maybe at a certain point Moon could bring up the carving bit and Solar acts confused. Then later on, Solar alone in the garage or bedroom tries to craft or carve something like he used to. But oh whoop. He can't. Maybe a directive is replayed in his head like "Survive. No matter what" and thats why he's neglectful of others in his family (Jack and Cosmo) becuase of it.

Nexus at a certain point I'm pretty sure said that Revived Solar "wasn't the same" or "isn't Solar" or something along those lines back when Nexus first met Solar again after revival. Idk.

I'm pretty sure that was Solar's whole point of existence, to not discriminate against an Alternate version of someone just because they're the same as your version. You see them for who THEY are, even if it's a window of who they could have been or better.

Hence why cosmo immediately wanted to replace Eclipse with Solar and call him brother or family.

Terra went on to say she wouldn't mind Solar as apart of the family, like a cousin.

Nexus actively calls Solar a Brother becuase that's how close the bond was.

Sun and Moon actively call Solar a brother or Cousin STILL while also calling him, Solar himself as well, an Uncle.

And by "aren't really related", you could say that for the entire family. Sun and Moon have had multiple instances saying they are the same person but due to their personalities, they've started calling each other brother and it stuck. So- "aren't really related"

Cosmos was made by Eclipse as a tool, but they adopted Cosmos into the family thanks to Monty. So, "Aren't really related"

Sun and Moon were the ones to instigate the idea of a Little Sister to Terra, but they're robots so, "aren't really related"

Solar is from another universe! So "aren't really related"

Nexus was just a replacement for Moon, so "aren't really related"

The Creator created Sun, Moon, and Terra, but he's human, they're not, so "aren't really related"

Point is, Found Family is the same concept as Adoption. They're never going to ACTUALLY be blood related, that's the point. To FIND the family.
