Do you have any sexual orientation thoughts about the rottmnt characters?
to start i must say i already made one post what i think about raph's orientation but, to paraphrase: i think raph's very much into masculine dudes and is bear4bear, also i just love the idea of raph being gay! i'm of course open to other interpretations (all… outside of straight headcanons :'D i'm sorry nobody will convince me he's straight fdhsfjl) but gay is my personal favorite!
with leo i have less solidified headcanon abot his sexuality, i'm only sure of his romantic attraction: being aromantic! it's mainly because of his aversion to romance (and i knooow it might be because he's just a teenager but i'm so starved for aromantic characters i'm gonna take any potential coding and run with it!), but whether he's aromantic gay, aromantic bisexual/pansexual or aroace? i'm open to all these interpretations! it's just his aromanticism is in the front for me (but same as raph: nobody will convince me leo's straight hfsdj i think show's canon and very clear queercoding of leo would also disagree with the notion 👍)
i kinda think donnie could be the Token Straight among the turtles, he's the only one to openly show interest only in girls and it's so funny to me fhdsfj it doesn't mean he can't be bi/pansexual but! i also love the idea of Donnie being an uncracked egg (she obsesses over Atomic Lass in a way it reads partially as gender envy to me, like a classic problem of: "do i want to be WITH her or do i want to BE her?") so in my eyes she's an unaware trans lesbian <3
mikey is an enigma to me tbh every time i try to put him into one box he escapes it almost instantly so i headcanon him simply as queer, not everyone needs labels and i just think he'd find them restricting for the most part (and honestly same)
about april… well, the way she can't find a place to belong in her school, how she's desperate to fit in but ultimately just- seemingly can't, the way she turns down dale on every opportunity and the way the episode where she meets sunita almost plays like a romcom? this just screams like ace lesbian to me~
speaking of sunita! she's bi in my heart <3
also i think casey being a lesbian is a popular headcanon but i think i like headcanoning her as pansexual i think it's neat headcanon for her~
i also think splinter's bisexual but unaware of his attraction to men. considering his upbringing and later his job and this whole situation with Big Mama he just had no desire to open this can of worms, and later his previous life was torn away from him and he became a single father of four- he's simply just too depressed to really think about his sexuality 😭 (unless 👀)
draxum isn't even gay, he's just LouJitsusexual, it's been ages and he's still hung on the guy! draxum might say it's because of splinter's "superior genetics" and the "wasted potential" or whatever but i know draxum sees those abs every night in his dreams
also Big Mama is bisexual and Jessica Jaclyn is a lesbian and in a relationship, i know because they told me personally!
