Life updates...
Hi folks! I guess this has been ages! I’m glad to be back here again. Catching up with everyone of you some topics to talk about and reflect. My initial on making this blog was actually to keep myself on track but I suppose I lost counts for how many times I forget to leave some notes. Anyway, prepare your snacks because this is going to be a long journey.
First thing first, have you ever heard of people saying “Life before Corona was great”?, because I do. Hundred times a day. Not in any intention to blame this situations or conditions remembering how this pandemic has affected not just only me but also billions of people’s lives, I was thinking that this has gotten so many people into mixed ideas. Something that I hate for sure, conspiracy theories -well I am actually a fan- . I hate to admit that people are really naïve believing this as a conspiracy, how many people must die to prove you that this pandemic is real? Unless your loved ones is infected, you will never believe this, won’t you? On top of that, I want people to not taking this as granted and I hope this pandemic will over anytime soon.
In any other way, this pandemic has brought me to a level where I never thought that sides of mine were exist. Meeting people used to be a scary nightmare, but now, I’m craving for it. Listening to people’s stories and journeys is my new addiction. What Trivet Sembel said is right, “storytelling is stronger that nuclear”. so Fun fact, I tune in podcast to accompany me working everyday, not that often now, because I got to keep both of my ears turned on without any distraction. I really hate working in a quiet workplace environment, to be frank. So boring. I feel like I was working in a prison. Speaking of which, I’m glad that working isn’t really my goal to earn money, but instead, I want to learn something out of the company in which I work. Money is my number three in my top three priority to deciding where to work. Money isn’t really captivating me, it’s the knowledge, values, principles and the vibes plus environments that are my top two. I pity those people who do extra miles for bunch of money and forget humanity. I hope I’m not one of them.
And yeah, another me that I don’t really familiar with is that I enjoy reading so much. It was a boring activity and I swear I would do anything to skip that, but now, a book in a month is a mandatory goal!
With those -not so specific things being said, let’s talk more serious on what I thought of everything. Have you ever have that contradictions in your life that taken almost your soul out of your body? I do. Recently, I just realize how people’s mindset can be dangerous. My parents never tell me to see and treat people based on their title, but someone taught me to do so. I hate saying this here, but that was one of most shocking moments in my life. Since when do we have lessen values just because of position, education background, or ethnicity? We are all human being after all. I was conflicted because I have to follow my boss’ order but I somehow feel that this wasn’t right, this wasn’t what my parents taught me to do. In the end of the day, I am proud that I don’t do what she said. I have principles that I need to uphold strongly. You do you, do things that you think it is right!
Have you ever met someone that is so negative so that in her life is full of criticism towards other people? I do. Not blocking any critics into my life but if you’re working without getting any good feedbacks, would you, as a human being, feel at least a little bit, appreciated? Big NO. How many times I spent trying to think about it, I don’t get it why that such person exist. What was happened in her past that made her so toxic and negative? Nobody knew and I don’t want to know. It’s a basic decency to treat people in a nice way. It’s not that you have the right to treat people badly after being treated so. People deserves kindness.
Have you ever known people that are so fake? Standing on both sides to everything? I do. I meet him every single flipping day and I slowly get sick of that reality. Do you have no principle so that your heart get sway easily? Wake up, you’re an adult! Take a side, there’s nothing in between.
Have you ever met someone that is so apathetic? I do. I hope her a better life so that she can take a moment to look into any other sides of life and help people. Helping people won’t make you poorer.
I was expecting this to be a long journey but I’m totally wrong. It hard to say what is in your mind. Your hands are so slow that you somehow forget what you want to say.
Anyway, I’ll go back to this page as soon as I remember what was I’m about to say.
Bye for now!
