0. IMPORTANT NOTES

Jamie, Very Tired, Korean. I’m fluent at both English and Korean, the latter being my native language. 

i. I accept commissions only through paypal. Mostly because that’s the only method available to me. 

ii. I work via a prior-pay system. That means I don’t start until I check that the money has arrived. For translating work longer than 10000 characters or 5000 words, you have the choice between paying per 10000 characters/5000 words or straight up front.

iii. My deadline is usually two weeks, but in cases of long writing and/or busy schedule I may inform you at the beginning of a different due date. If I don’t meet my deadlines, I’ll return you the money and email you whatever I’ve accomplished until then. For translating work longer than 10000 characters or 5000 words, I may give you deadlines per 10000 characters/5000 words. If you want me to absolutely finish something before a certain date before my deadline, I charge extra depending on the date, but around 1.5x if within the week and 2x if within two-three days. 

iv. I will send you updates per every 1000 characters (Korean) / 500 words (English) and you have the choice to ask me for a refund of what I haven’t wrote yet. I don’t give refunds to what I already wrote, however. 

v. You are allowed to use anything you commissioned me freely as long as you source me as the commissioner! Please note that resulting output could be referred to in my portfolios & intro letters. If you don’t want this (or a public release) I charge extra (1.5x) for keeping it private. 

1. KOR → ENG

I translate Korean into English. I accept the original file in PDF, .docx or text and will return my result in .docx. If the material is university level or higher, I may ask for more time and payment.

Rates: 

1~1000 characters (not incl. spaces): 2$ per 100 characters (max 15$) 

1000~  characters (not incl. spaces): 1.5$ per 100 characters

2. ENG  → KOR

I translate English into Korean. I accept the original file in PDF, .docx or text and will return my result in .docx. If the material is university level or higher, I may ask for more time and payment.

1~1000 words: 4$ per 100 words

1000~ words: 3$ per 100 words

3. Writing 

Only fiction. I don’t take essay/report commissions. I tend to ramble in my writing, so I may well go over my wordcount, but if I do I won’t charge you extra. 

I write in Korean too but idk why you’d want to commision me that. The rates for those are separate: if you’re interested, ask me separately.

Rates: 

12$ per 1000 words for genres I don’t know or OCs, 10$ per 1000 words for anything I know or my own OCs.
