Princess Elaris, named after the lake which heard her first cries. The elders say that when she was born, the waters shimmered softly, as though the lake itself knew she would one day be of great importance. Now, as the seasons turn, she is found lingering in the fleeting hours of her freedom. Wandering beneath the whispering canopy of the forest and along the edges of the water trying to find some semblance of ease. Soon she will become the guardian of her people, taking the place of her ailing father. Elaris must answer the call of the forest that has always watched over her, though she knows it is far easier spoken of than done. 🌿
