Walking around NYC I’m always amazed who I see at work and on the streets.

Looking back on this old blog has been eye opening really. My life has gotten extremely busy since I last posted but with that I had a eye opening experience. The good news is I am starting to blog more often. Though the bad news is I was diagnosed with cancer. I want to take this time in my life to live and document my life. I want to explore and learn and be happy. Which btw most times I am. So I’m hoping you take this messy, fun, beautiful journey with me. ❤️

I have to start being more confident in what I have accomplished. I don't have any fear anymore with what jobs I apply to. I don't feel ashamed of what happened, I feel like I grew too much and wanted what I wanted. I accepted a roll as a Studio Assistant at Tome. They are amazing designers and I am so happy for this opportunity! I leave you with this smart quote! "I worked for American Harper's Bazaar...they fired me. I recommend that you all get fired, it's a great learning experience."- Anna Wintour even gets fired! 😛☺️

An update on the moments I've been MIA! I was featured on the American Gypsy Vintage instagram which was cool! Saw The 1975 with my sister, the holidays snuck up on me and I spent them in Beacon NY with family.

I've been working pretty hard and recently left my first real PR job because I wasn't treated with respect at all. Some girls are going to call me crazy but I rather be treated as a human then have a secure job. In no way am I giving up on this. It has only made me a stronger person. I am interviewing at a couple great companies so we will see!

A 4 hour press day set up for Blackframe and a walk through Chelsea. I absolutely love this company and the city. The unfortunate thing is I need to find a paying job. I wish I could forever intern for Blackframe because of there client list and the wonderful people who work there. But in the real world you need money. So the big girl hunt is on!

When someone asks me why I chose fashion pr it's hard for me to really pinpoint the second I thought, "YES this can be a career!" Since I'm still forming my opinions about that. I feel though fate has sort of helped me with that. It's been about a year since I quit my job and started interning and looking back at that year i am completely amazed and fortunate about who I have met/worked for. So my advice for someone who is thinking of a career change, I say go for it but be warned you need to put in a lot more then you get out, at first.
