OKAYYY, so first of all: "things that ought not to have been altered"

1) Jily: As someone who waited 5 books for them to have a cute moment, I never -ever- felt so robbed as I did after James changed the timeline. I know it was necessary, but god, it was so sad!!! all their cute moments disappeared...expect some echoes. Like James' sweater on their Bambi date.

If the sweater is an artefact, that means Lily and James are one of those things that shouldn't have been altered = soulmates, destines to be together in any other timeline.

2) Regulus: he still has the dark mark, and this is other thing that shouldn't have been altered, I believe this is strongly connected to his plot with the horcruxes, for Regulus to have more information he had to be Death Eater, it was just his destiny.

3) And finally...Maryrose: if some details of Lily and James stayed intact thought the time-line change, if Regulus still is a Death Eater, if all that meant it was destined, then I feel like Maryrose's death is also destined, and will also happen in a near future -even if I don't want to- this is more a theory but I needed to say it.
