There are three basic designs - standard acoustic guitar, electric acoustic guitar and electric guitar. An acoustic guitar is basically a hollow box with a hole in it that vibrates and introduces sound when the strings are plucked. An electric guitar uses thinner (lighter gauge) strings and has pickups (small microphones) that pick up the sound and send it to an amplifier where the sound can be adjusted up or down and run thru various phase pedals to give it increased sound and effect, such as the distinct sound of your favorite rock band or guitar superstars. An electric acoustic guitar provides the best of both worlds. It can be played without amplification, you know, like when you're playing around a campfire on the beach, or sitting around the backyard with some friends just playing or singing a few songs. Charlie Sheen: Crazy or Clever? Charlie's recent antics include degrading his costars and producers. Considering the fact that 'Two and a Half Men' was such a big hit, it seems strange that Charlie would be so quick to trash the people that lined his pockets with so much money. If Charlie really is now free of drugs, what will be his next move? Are the big money boys from Hollywood going to back him, considering his outrageous personality and behavior? Will the ladies continue to line up, just to be abused by him? Will the public continue to tolerate his antics and reward him for providing such an example to the primetime television audience? As history has shown, whatever goes up must eventually come down. If Charlie continues his wild lifestyle, what price will he pay? Will he have to deal with the police, or possibly even the grim reaper? In spite of all his crazy actions, it's possible that Charlie's fooling us all. There's a growing consensus that Charlie does indeed have a master plan and he's working that plan. He's receiving a tremendous amount of publicity and everyone's talking about him. He's the topic of conversation everywhere you go. You can't buy that kind of publicity at any price. If you don't think Charlie's plan is working, consider his recent one-man stage show that sold out in just 18 minutes. Could it be that the viewing public just wants to watch a 'train wreck' from a front row seat, or has Charlie's popularity grown so much that people can't get enough of him? You'll have to admit that he certainly has everyone's attention these days and he could turn all that attention into dollars. Could Charlie stage a comeback and be more popular and bankable than ever? You decide - Is Charlie crazy and headed for a total meltdown, or is he a marketing genius who'll be stronger and more popular than ever? Voice your opinion at Charlie Sheen: Crazy or Clever?
