When I first created dimi I rmb that I had him still being polytheistic and I talked about when I returned the second time dimi kinda changed as a muse (bcs idk it wasnβt like intentional I at some point noticed that my hcs were different from the first time I introduced him).

talking about gifts, i extended the info about dimi's gift in my carrd but i'll say some words here too.
bcs the whole TENOR OF THEIR MINDS explained nothing to me and the people i talked to could start nothing with it either i just think dimi had something like the sixth's sense as human too. amun was looking out for gifted vampires too and he noticed and turned dimi. basically means demetri never had a choice to choose either way ( i just made the circumstances more into a matter of life and death w the whole backstory n so on ). Dimi was always good at having a feeling for others / reading them. In combination with him travelling as a merchant this tracking gift came out.

it's funny to me that in the wiki pages dimi is described to be turned when he was like 22 or start of his 20s and i think i saw felix at 26 and i instictively made it the other way around. i just feel like by the way dimi behaves that he was turned at a later age than felix or at least has experienced more which is why i gave him the backstory that i did.
i felt like dimi had a family, dimi had experienced loss and dimi wasn't interested in power. he just desired to live in peace which is why he was never scared to deny aro or the vol.turi. he was content and happy with amun. he never seeked to use his gift to terrify others. he never wanted to give his gift in order for the vol.turi to harass others. while felix to me gives me a rather more sadistic energy. i don't feel like he has experienced loss. he always liked what the v.olturi stood for. he approves and enjoys everything.
