     ❛   NISHINOYA  !  have you finished your homework ?   ❜  the once soft tone has become firm , and he frowns for a quick moment . however , the frown doesn’t last , and he’s left smiling at the smaller boy , ruffling his hair gently .

- does smoke weed from time to time. bought a really expensive and nice crystal pipe with the words painted “ thunder “ on it.

- has an eyebrow piercing, a lip ring, and a tongue stud. wants more piercings.

- has both sides of his hair shaved in a lightning bolt formation & dyed in that form.

- is very much a trouble maker & will pull pranks on people without really thinking.

- is a lot more blunt than in his normal verse, says things he shouldn’t and doesn’t have a filter at all. 

- wears a lot of leather, studs, and spikes. sometimes wears combat boots in order to make himself seem taller than what he is.

- even worse of a flirt & at least 10% more gay than in his normal verse. actively hits on both guys and girls that he finds personally attractive.

AU - DELINQUENT.

AGE(S): 18 ( eighteen ) / third year of high school. STATUS: previously enrolled in karasuno. now enrolled in the rabbit school / credit to @rabbitset​. VERSE STATUS: open to haikyuu!! roleplayers, undecided if open to other fandoms.

he’d always been a lonely boy. from the time he entered school at a ripe young age, people had always judged the way he spoke and the way he acted; a vivacious lad with eyes as big as his heart, but outrageous in mind and actions. he was constantly ostracized by his fellow peers, often remaining by his lonesome for the majority of his school day. the only thing he could look forward to, going to school in the morning, would be when he would return home, to be with his parents, whom had so much love for their overly energetic son -- especially his mother, since she was exactly like him.

one tragic day caused yuu to lose both parents while he was still rather young & was afterwards sent to live with his grandpa. despite how much his grandfather loved him, yuu never truly recovered from the fact that he would never get to see his mother’s large smile or his father’s warm eyes again. throughout middle school, his personality stayed relatively the same: loud, rambunctious, & vivacious to a fault. this continued to deter kids from being around him & eventually, he was labeled as weirdo & a troublemaker. despite having joined the volleyball team to try and make a different name for himself, yuu still found that these labels followed him out every other person’s mouth / eventually, at some point, his ability to hold strong had diminished, the lonliness and trauma from losing his parents catching up to him ; fine. if they were going to call him a troublemaker, treat him like a lesser being than themselves & not even try to see him in another light, what’s the point in even trying himself?

even with yuu’s exceptional ability in the libero position of the volleyball team, his behavior and grades became less than desired & the only school he could get into was karasuno. things didn’t go well either, despite his joining the volleyball team there as well. he’d only managed to stay there two years ( causing trouble the whole time while ) until he was forced to transfer out to a different school because his grandfather couldn’t take if he got expelled. during the start of his third year is when yuu was transferred to rabbit tech & placed on the volleyball team, this time under the vice principal’s word, in order for him to continue to have a sport under his belt, hoping that he would eventually receive disciplinary from it & change his ways.

- he dyes the sides of his hair the same color as the blond streak in his front and trims around it to shape the streaks into somewhat of lightning bolt formations

- the school finally accepts him getting a part time job bc his grades get better than last year’s. as his grandfather gets older, yuu realizes he needs to be able to know how to work for when he’s alone in college and support himself. he works as a barista at a tea shop not too far from the school.

- he gets an eyebrow piercing on his left brow and has to hide it whenever he’s at school & also keeps it out during practice, but wears it everywhere else ( except the shower bc duh )

- he retains his position as libero on the karasuno team, having no inclination to let that position go so easily, however, he does become open to teaching the younger classmen who join abt his moves -- he still sucks at teaching though because everything he does is purely from instinct and gut, and therefore, has little teachable technique to it.

- he becomes a lot closer to kenma ( @appurupii ) and tsukishima ( @bespectacledcrow ), but still manages close relationships with the graduated third years and the second years of their team that were previously first years ( i.e. kageyama and hinata ) 

- he gets about two inches taller than last year, but of course, is still short af and is still the butt of short jokes from his taller teammates and friends
