Im bored so here's a little guide too how I personally like too do my tarot readings, with the one I just did for myself as an example.
So, i like too do a four card spread for most readings, I'll do diffrent spreads for diffrent things too, but ussally I just like too stick too my four card spread
The first card represents the present, the now, the current situation.
The second card represents the action, the conflict, the push too your future.
The third card represents the outcome, the ending, how the situation resolves.
And the fourth card is the factor that ties it all together.
This is what it ussally looks like, I dont flip a card until I've layed then all out.
Once they've all been flipped I look at them and see which are right side up and which are reversed, a reversed card means that the cards original meaning is flipped.
Next I take my tarot book, because im still learning and dont have all tge cards memorized, and look at the definition of each card.
The chariot: Upright: direction, control, willpower Reversed: lack of control, lack of direction, aggression
Two of swords: Upright: difficult choices, indecision, stalemate Reversed: lesser of two evils, no right choice, confusion
The wheel: Upright: change, cycles, inevitable fate Reversed: no control, clinging to control, bad luck
Five of swords: Upright: unbridled ambition, win at all costs, sneakiness Reversed: lingering resentment, desire to reconcile, forgiveness
Once I have all the meanings, I look at it with my life (or if im doing the reading for someone else I'll ask if anything stands out with them) and my intuition too put together a kind of story too see what the cards are telling me, when im doing it for myself I like too write it out.
"In my life I currently feel lost and powerless, and its causing me too act out and lash out on people who dont deserve it, and its going too put me in a situation where im going too have too make hard, and choices that seem impossible and that dont have a real "right" answer, I will feel like my life is spinning out of my control and like fate is against me. And throughout all of this I will feel a sense of resentment, longing for what I once had, but I will know that what I once had is not there, and I will learn too forgive."
Once I have my story layed out, If it seems not positive (like in this reading) I will see what I can do in my life too better myself or fix the situation and learn from the cards what I can do too keep myself in a better place. If its positive I'll look around and appreciate what I have, and see what I can do too stay on that positive track.
So yeah! No one asked, but thats how I personally like too do my tarot readings! I know that everyone's style is a little diffrent. I am also still learning so if anyone has any tips or tricks those are VERY appreciated and I will always be happy too hear them.
One thing I will say because I've seen this online a few times.
DO. NOT. USE. AI. FOR. ANY. PART. OF. YOUR. READINGS.
Don't use it too generate the cards, dont use it too find the cards meaning, and certainly do not use it too decipher what the cards are telling you. Tarot works because of YOUR intuition and energy, using Ai defeats the entire purpose of even having these cards.
